Tons of new balls for Kaden Johnson to Wisconsin.
Maybe we’ll get him as a transfer someday. Never give up hope.
I kind of took that to be the case when we landed Greene. Both listed as OLB and I know the May end up at different spots when they get to campus but that’s my take. Our coaches are doing a good job reading these kids IMO
Thank Christ we got Keyshawn Greene.
I guarantee you we’d have taken both of them.
Life is a series of closing doors.
If he ends up there that sucks for us as he is a talented player.
Have to have guys who want to be at Nebraska and play for Nebraska. If his heart isn’t their he won’t end up staying or playing as well anyway. Get guys that want it.
That said let’s see where he ends up before we waive goodbye.
It’s not over till they sign.... where has wiltfong predicted
We’ve been preaching this rhetoric for 20 years. At some point we need to start landing these kids if we want to turn the corner.
I’d say we started landing these kids last year so I’d take a step back from the cliff.
and we will land and have landed several. Just need to keep finding the top talent the team can get. I think the talent upgrades are coming.
Wiltfong just flipped. Ugh.
We most certainly would. It just becomes a different sell for the kids
Nebraska always has better classes than Wiscy. We need to coach them up better.
It’s definitely turned some. 67 Wisconsin 33 Huskers. I wonder the heck happens to make a few of these guys change there minds suddenly when it was dam near 100% Huskers a few minutes ago?
This is why wilfongs balls (lol) need to be taken with a grain of salt because kids change their minds. Fongs ball is a only a good indicator of which way a kid is leaning at the time of that prediction. Things change.
Travis Lewis approves this commitment.
You saying he was a silent commit like lewis was?
And during the season while we’re taking loses all I see on this board is how we need to get more talent.
Oh. I don’t know. I’m still excited about how this class is closing out though. We’ll see what happens. It’s tough to lose 2 OLB prospects to the same interdivision team though.
Yep. Losing Johnson will set this program back for years.
Sucks. Still a heck of a LB class.
Wisconsin must be growing cashola trees...kidding.
They must have.. with that #38 recruiting class.
I think you missed the joke.
Maybe this poor guy doesn’t realize we have been trouncing Wisky for at least the last fifteen years in recruiting rankings and this year will be no different.
Speaking of Wisconsin’s recruiting class, I’m surprised they don’t have a RB in the class yet. I’d expect Taylor to go pro. They will have a few pretty good backs, but missing the bell cow as of now (unless they’re counting on that Kenyatta Watson or whatever his name is to be the guy)
Hey at least we still got KeShawn Greene. It’s not like we are missing out that bad. Kaden Johnson would have been nice but KeShawn Greene is a great one too.
Sarcasm was over your head. It’s ok.
Dang bag men!!!
What the hell happened? All trending toward Nebraska, then today, after no contact period, it all swings to Wisconsin. There ain’t no bagmen, how did we lose out on this one?
Well, if this all comes true, do we get to have some phase 2 recruiting drama for February signing day or will all scholarships be filled? In other words, does the staff target others now?
Doesn’t help elevate to the place we want to be.
We should find out if Hyppolite is signing with Maryland tomorrow. If not, he may be a guy. I thought he was supposed to visit recently.
exactly. and this one hurt. he was in.
Still isn’t over till morning and we got a good round of LBs lead by KeShawn Greene. Stings if we lose him but doesn’t kill us.
Did the K-State fan get to him?
