Pointless meltdown

Michigan played like a team that can win the whole damn thing. NU played like a team that wasn’t going to punch above its weight today. NU could be 3-2 but are 2-3. I hope the kids just take a mulligan mentally as far as this game is concerned and focus on a very winnable game Friday. There were a few bright spots, but it was pretty much a manhandling by a more talented disciplined team.
The overreaction to a team losing to a 2X CFP team after only winning 7 games in the last two years is something. Just focus on playing sound football next week and go 1-0. There are a lot of mediocre teams on the schedule. Beat them.

Satterfield vs Brian Ferentz

Who has the better odds of returning to work next season?

BF has the ominous drive to 325. Can he get there? His daddy will keep him around if he gets to 326. He cannot/will not land skill position players with that offense. But behind a good OL, anything is possible.

Satterfield doesn’t have any contractual obligations to production or competency. But he is the most overpaid assistant in the country. At over a million a year, he’d open up some cap space to bring in a promising youngster and a shit ton of ribeye steaks.

Both should be unemployed. That’s not up for debate. But which coach is more likely to be bailed out by a pacifist head coach?

RIP Tim Wakefield

Wakefield was a true pitcher. Not physically talented compared to some, but he knew how to get batters out.

Also- f@ck you Schilling for announcing private information before the family.

Potential new head coach

It would seem, from reading many posts on this board, that there are many potential head coaches who post on here. The profound insights and genius suggestions for what we need to do are astounding. The depth of football knowledge is just amazing.

So if we fire Frost now, as it seems many on here think we should, Moos should just come to this board. He will find several potential new head coaches to choose from.

Damn

Michigan was better than us at every position, players and coaches. Credit to them.

We are paying big money for Rhule, 150M+ invested into the Go Big project and another 450M+ proposed for South Stadium. It’s time for our athletic department to find a way to be competitive in football now. I’m still hopeful on Rhule, but we need to get 6 wins this year. I’m done with the let’s wait and see shit, it’s time to win Rhule

No Matt, Michigan is Not OUR Blueprint

It may be your blueprint for what you want to do, but it's never been Nebraska's blueprint.

It's actually, almost offensive that you would frame it that way. Nebraska has never been a follower or copy cat program. For you to suggest otherwise shows me, you don't know what you're talking about.. at least in this regard.

Nebraska had it's own blueprint. You in fact acknowledged this in the spring with all your fancy fullback talk, and now you throw this phrase out there for people to consume?

I'm sure the intent is to imply that we become more of a balance run/pass team.. but that is not the personnel you have this year. I'm just sort of stunned that a guy with a silver tongue would choose his words so carelessly.. to the point where it's actually insulting. It tells me you truly don't understand Nebraska football nor it's history.
