A lot of discussion on this site about matt training and how challenging and difficult it is, especially under Rhule’s team. Does anyone know what drills or whatever they do are involved in matt training?

Seen some awesome performances Friday and Saturday, headlined by Axelina Johansson throwing the shot 63’ 4”. Nebraska record and sits #2 in the world rankings in2023. Also set the Swedish indoor record.

Penn State (14-8 overall, 5-6 in Big Ten) is in town to take on Nebraska (10-13, 3-9) inside Pinnacle Bank Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

The Nittany Lions won this matchup in State College, 76-65, on Jan. 21.

back in 2018 when Frost was 0-6, I had gotten on this board and proclaimed that we made an enormous mistake with Frost and 0-6 isn't the remnants of Riley but rather who he is and what he will always be.

Drinking Kool aid is pretty dangerous and I admit that I was pretty drunk on it for about 2 years on Frost.

Projected to be a 1st rounder. Luckily, Nebraska cooled.

I just spoke with Fort Lauderdale, Florida receiver Zay Flowers and he said he spoke with the Nebraska coaches and they requested that he and his teammate, Rivals250 defensive back Joshua Sanguinetti, take their official visit to Lincoln on a different date than this weekend. He said that they both still intend to officially visit Nebraska when it can be arranged.

Trey Palmer is the only Nebraska player. He’s getting some pre-draft attention, and at this point seems that he will not slip past rounds 2-3. If he can impress this week, and post an elite 40 time at the combine, he could be an NFL 1st rounder.

Are there any available other then from Stub Hub, etc.? Can't find them on the university website.

Players are warming up inside Pinnacle Bank Arena ahead of the 1:15 p.m. tip between No. 4 Purdue (9-0, 1-0) and Nebraska (6-4, 0-1).

Saturday's game will be televised nationally on BTN with Jeff Levering and Stephen Bardo on the call.

Here's a little pregame reading ahead of the game:

The BIG conference did well in recruiting some high school talent. Ohio State and Penn State each had 18 four stars. The Buckeyes also had a five star. Michigan had 10 four stars and Michigan State had nine. Nebraska had four. (This according to 24/7 rankings, other recruiting sites may have a different take.)

The big question, of course, is how many of them will actually stick around and be able to contribute down the road.

Fred Hoiberg and Derrick Walker spoke with the media this morning to detail the upcoming home game against Penn State.

The key takeaway? Stop turning the ball over.
