looks like our coaches have started instate. Please let’s keep this thread for updates on where our coaches are recruiting and not deviate into a Bo, Mike Riley or Iowa thread.

Maybe both are headed to Coloarado and Scottsbluff is on the way, or maybe Nelson’s mom is a good cook and they are hungry. Why did we send Verduzco and Austin? Nelson's probably our safest commit.
Hopefully, it is because he is camped outside Ty Robinson’s house.Makes me feel like a bum for deciding to not put my Christmas tree up until next weekend. I wonder why Dawson wasn't there?
Does someone have the tail number so we can track the plane?Dawson is at Sky Harbor in Phoenix waiting for in bound flight from Alabama.
Rumor has it that Ryan Held will be in three different countries and 27 states this afternoon. He’s everywhere![/QUOTE

Must be on their way to Colorado to visit McCaffrey and Lynn, would explain why Verduzco and Austin are there.
Ok....this is embarrassing! At first glance, left to right, I thought it was Mom, Dad, Kid, Frost!
ready bade? Like I said, iowa fan. Hilarious.Hopefully they will use a few rides in ready bade JC defenders
Can someone translate this for me?Hopefully they will use a few rides in ready bade JC defenders
Bahahaha- the auto correct strikes again. Scholarships for some ready made JC defendersCan someone translate this for me?
Gotcha. WR, OLB, OL and Safety would be nice.Bahahaha- the auto correct strikes again. Scholarships for some ready made JC defenders
He's been on here awhile, basically 3/4th iowa fan, 1/8th Husker fan, 1/8th undesirable. He always seems to put out his thinly veiled digs at Nebraska, typical iowa fan drivel. Is he a mole?
Nope I see it too and honestly the kid could be confused for mom as wellOk....this is embarrassing! At first glance, left to right, I thought it was Mom, Dad, Kid, Frost!
Verduzco looks like some kind of steampunk villain, like somebody said, "Good picture, but could you photoshop in a kinda mad scientist lookin guy on the left there?"Nope I see it too
It would be a very ugly mom if it was.Ok....this is embarrassing! At first glance, left to right, I thought it was Mom, Dad, Kid, Frost!
Verduzco makes up for it with a great personality. It would be a very ugly mom if it was.
Verduzco makes up for it with a great personality.
Yeah, but how much can he bench?I’ve seen moms that kinda look like him in the picture. Along with the personality he has a bigger salary than 99% of the posters on here.
Georgia travels: Head coach Scott Frost appeared headed from Colorado to Georgia on Monday morning. The Huskers have three verbal commitments in the state -- running back Ronald Tompkins (Loganville) and defensive backs Quinton Newsome (Suwanee) and Myles Farmer (Atlanta). Not only that, but NU hosted Tavian Mayo on an official visit earlier in the year and the Huskers are recruiting several other players from the area.
Tight ends coach Sean Beckton is typically NU's lead recruiter in the Peach State.
Husker commit Johnson working on visit: Standout running back Rahmir Johnson (Oradell, New Jersey) confirmed to the Journal Star on Monday that he's
working on setting up an official visit to Lincoln for the weekend of Dec. 8.
Johnson also said that defensive line coach Mike Dawson, who recruits the East Coast for the Huskers, will be by to see him Tuesday.
To date, 14 of NU's 21 verbal commitments for 2019 have used their official visits, so Johnson is one of a few remaining guys who can still take one. Of course, if the Huskers set up a big recruiting weekend for early December, many members of the class would likely come to campus on unofficial visits.
Johnson turned in an impressive senior year in leading Bergen Catholic to the state championship game.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder rushed for 1,334 yards and 11 scores and added 140 and another touchdown receiving in 12 games for the powerhouse program.
Continued juco connections: When Garden City (Kan.) Community College head coach Jeff Sims recently took a job at Division II Missouri Southern, it could have been a tough blow for the Huskers. Sims, who will coach his team — and Nebraska verbal commit Dedrick Mills — in the national championship this week before leaving the school, is a friend of outside linebackers coach Jovan Dewitt and was a good resource for the Huskers in the juco ranks.
Football Scoop reported Monday morning that Arizona Western head coach Tom Minnick has been hired to take his place. Nebraska, of course, got two players from that school in 2018 in Jaron Woodyard and Greg Bell and has another committed for 2019 in offensive lineman Desmond Bland.
Arizona Western was going to be in a tough spot considering the uncertain future of juco football in Arizona.
So the Huskers maintain a close connection at Garden City. That can't hurt.
Sunday updates: The staff is clearly prioritizing getting out to see guys who are already committed.
Frost, outside linebackers coach Jovan Dewitt, offensive line coach Greg Austin, inside linebackers coach Barrett Ruud and quarterbacks coach Mario Verduzco all dropped
by Scottsbluff to see Garrett Nelson, the longest-tenured member of the 2019 class.
The coaching group might seem a bit random, but Dewitt will coach Nelson in college and Ruud coordinates in-state recruiting and also works Colorado. That's where the staff headed after that to see tackle Michael Lynn and quarterback Luke McCaffrey.
Defensive coordinator Erik Chinander and secondary coach Travis Fisher, meanwhile, were in Arizona to see verbal commit Javin Wright. You can bet it won't be long — if it didn't happen Sunday — before Dawson and/or Chinander stop in to see top target Ty Robinson right down the road.
