Need to play some man coverage on them, Iowa is not that fast. We’re giving them yards with this soft zone coverage.

Agreed, the first part is instinct and knowing your assignment. Played it perfect, next step is taking the play from good to great.

I'm just happy that Gifford was in position to knock the ball down even if he probably should've intercepted the pass. Lotta times, guys won't even be looking for the ball and wind up getting a pass interference on a poorly thrown ball. Gifford was in position and knocked it down so rather that than 15 yard penalty.
Martinez woulda floated that pass 3 feet over Vokolek's head.

I'll be completely honest, this is the type of offensive system I expected Frost to have when he first came here and thought could work.
So, uhh... where has this offensive system been? They've never even attempted to run anything similar to this with any of the other QBs.
Frost channeling some inner T.O. here with his play calling....set up the play 3 or 4 plays later with a similar play earlier then add a twist!! Nicely dun.
Looks like frost should not hire an offensive coordinator.
