Here are three thoughts on Matt Rhule's decision that is sure to get the Husker fan base talking:

I just finished the series. That was pretty intense. Stephen King really did a great job. His life's work really. It was cool how a ton of his books have tied into the DT series.

I believe Brohm is a good coach. Hoping his successor brings them back down to mediocrity.

...instead of bringing in a list of 4-star guys that have defects or character problems, that Rhule will bring in guys who may be lower ranked but have upside and are better character guys. I can see this guy passing on say, a Maurice Washington in favor of a say Devine Ozgibo or Roy Helu.

This is a long shot, I am an assistant principal at an elementary school and have an associate that would LOVE to give her son the experience of Arrowhead Stadium for Christmas. Her son has some struggles/special needs but truly is a great kid and she unfortunately can’t afford to pay a lot of tickets. Is there anyone that would have a good resource for maybe helping her out, she’s a great person and employee and I would love to help her and her family make this christmas moment happen. She is looking for 3 tickets, don’t care where they are located in the stadium. If anyone has any leads and could put me in contact with someone please let me know. Made it out to the Bluegrass State to see John Cook take the podium to talk about his 11th straight Sweet 16. The Huskers are getting acclimated to the early match time and Cook may need to see Matt Rhule after the season about getting Rhule's daughter a horse.

This evening, Nebraska defensive line coach Terrance Knighton went in-home with JUCO pass rusher Kai Wallin.

I just got a text from Wallin after that visit and he says that an official visit has been locked in with Nebraska for this weekend Dec. 9-11.

"The visit went great. We set up a visit for this weekend. I'm super excited."

Wallin has Power Five offers from Indiana and Oregon State, as well as a few from the Group of Five, too. I spoke with the defender when he got his offer from the Huskers back in October and he had this to say about how his recruitment.

"I kind of slipped through the cracks from high school," Wallin said. “Just being able to get after the quarterback at the college level is huge. I had defensive player of the year in high school and I have sack records at my high school that I got my senior year. Coming here, being able to still get after the quarterback, and then having my frame I think it is just appealing to college coaches."

He's looking forward to meeting more of the new coaching staff, seeing the facilities and hearing about their core values as a staff.

This is just the beginning of a huge visit weekend for Nebraska. The first official visit weekend for Matt Rhule at Nebraska will be fun to follow.

I just noticed these were on sale and I would like to buy some, but I don't know the stadium very well.

Does anyone know which seats will be with other Nebraska fans? Is it mainly the visitor side?

I'm in Louisville to cover the Huskers face off against Oregon in the Sweet 16 and possibly the winner of Louisville-Baylor if they can upend the Ducks tomorrow morning. To those who has been, what restaurant recommendations do you have? I'm staying in the downtown area, so ideally around there. TIA. Might be looking to check out the Louisville Slugger museum too.
