Darlington on Rhule and the current team

Login to view embedded media Discussion starts around 20:30. George has been around practice and apparently has a rep for being blunt. He thinks this is an extremely good tackling team and that Rhule's practices are in another league from Riley and Frost (George referred to them as crap). Also doesn't think NU can win with Sims. Thinks Rhule will get it done here. He likes the tackling in practice and the scrimmage periods during the week. It appears that Frost was so concerned with depth and practice injuries that he didn't do much of that.

Kong won't like this...

But according to an article on AtoZ sports written by Zach Ragan, Urban Meyer was quoted on "Don't @ Me with Dan Dakich" saying, "The SEC is not the best conference in the country right now. I don't think they're the second best conference in the country right now. I think the Big 10 is number one and you're going to love this, I think the Pac-12 is number two."

Just throwing that out there.

Annexation of Puerto Rico

Coach said we may play two QB's at the same time. I have a play lined up in memory of John Madden and The Little Giants.
Sims takes snap, pitches back to Grant who throws a lateral pass to Haarberg who throws a forward pass to Sims who gives the ball to Kemp on a reverse who double reverses to Washington who triple reverses to Haarberg who walks into the end zone after a Fidone pancake. I am not a coach so I am welcome to comments from the resident employed, unemployed or other Coaches on this board about flaws in this play. It could be bigger than 90,000 volleyball fans in Memorial for crying out loud.
