We didn’t have a 200 yard passing game all season

We didn’t have a 100 yard receiver in a game all season.

Our leading receiver, on the year, had less than 300 yards.

We only had a 100 yard rusher twice, both were quarterbacks.

Our leading rusher had less than 500 yards on the year; our leading passer less than 1000. Both were Haarberg.

Our kicker was 1-5 from 40-49 yards.

You are not going to win games, when our annual team production is less than many individuals. I blame this 50/50, between personnel and game management/coaching. Rhule needs to step the fvck up and go get some big fish. We will not win with a roster that continues to look like this on the offensive side of the ball.

And if we can’t get it figured out by next year, Satterfield needs to pack his shit.

Interesting recruiting idea

I wonder if this exists:

Imagine your top recruits are visiting in December. The stadium is empty. The lights are on, the LEDs bath the stadium in a glorious hue of Husker Red... it looks sweet.

You bring the recruit up to the luxury box level and hand them a pair of VR glasses. The stadium comes alive, it's like it's sold out. There's players down on the field, everyone gets a better feel of what a game day atmosphere would be like. Goose bumps and chills down the spine are felt as the star recruit watches himself score a touchdown and the crowd erupts.

They commit immediately.

Be cool if they did something like this.

As we saw last night after the volleyball win — I should say a beat down instead of just a win — John Bullock announced he'll return for the 2024 season. More good news for the Huskers.
