QB Play away from 11-1

So much of the team improved this year in spite of injuries we faced everywhere. HH and Chubba are young and inexperienced and they make young and inexperienced mistakes. At the end of the day - had we had an experienced dual threat on the roster our season looks entirely different. I’m not bashing on HH or Chubba because I’m 100% confident they will be better next year and the year after. The hype around Sims preseason was a huge miss by staff but it is what it is as the staff is trying to put together their first team.

I’m still convinced we are much better team than what we have seen the past 6 years and that is with an unbelievable amount of injuries to both sides of the ball.

I am disappointed with the results this year - but I love our staff and am excited for what is being built. Seeing Lloyd and Coleman making plays and knowing our group is so young - our future is much brighter. Fired up for next year already.

I hope the PAC-12 schools joining the Big Ten next year WIN BIG

I honestly believe this conference caters to the old guard for whatever reason. I don’t want to believe that there is some Big Ten conspiracy but sometimes when things seem too coincidental the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. I know Nebraska still has a ways to go, so I am also going to root next year for the 4 teams coming in. I want them to turn this conference upside down and level the playing field.

Refs missed the stopped clock…

Isn’t there supposed to be a ref on the field that tracks the official game clock so that when the clock operator doesn’t start the clock for a play and a half, he can correct it? Iowa had an additional 15 seconds at the end of the game to get in better field goal range…

I will freely admit, we would most likely have found a way to lose the game in other ways, just frustrating to see the refs suck once again.
