What will you do if HH doesn’t start?

It doesn't matter what you said 2 years ago. Since the first day I was on this site 9/6/21 I've been calling for the replacement of Benhart. Exactly where has that gotten me?
it matters a lot

credibility isn't an etch a sketch like @dinglefritz wishes it was

it's built over time

you were right about benhart then, and you're right about him now

alternatively, I've never seen an accurate opinion posted by him, so I throw everything he says in the trash where it belongs

Some of the issue is that we expect our O linemen to win every block. That just isn’t possible any more unless you have superior talent. We’re going to have guys whiff sometimes. Sometimes it will be just okay. Sometimes they’ll win. As inconsistent as that is and as bad as it looks sometimes, it still has been good enough to win these last 2 games with better QB play. I’ve only seen one interception that had anything to do with the pass rush

If Haarberg starts and pisses it down his leg what does that do for your credibility?

I never said he's Joe Montana

I said we need to see what we have in him for 2+ years while trotting out nothing but losers over and over and over and over

it's never been more true than it is today

I have alot of people in my "Ignore Hopper" and dingle isn't one of them, and I don't forsee the possibility of it happening in the future.

dingle and I have tangled numerous times, you and I have tangled a few times. It doesn't bother me, because both you guys make a lot of good points, even when I may not agree.

Along with Tuco and others, you two guys are among the two guys I really enjoy engaging with. We're all stubborn as hell, doesn't mean we're 100% right or wrong. Opinions are what make the forum worthwhile.

another lie from the Preacher:

"Just for me the depth chart is an organism," Rhule said. "It’s ever-changing. I’m not a big ‘set it in stone’ kind of guy. We’re going to play guys, and the competition is always there and you have the power to change your situation. That’ll kind of be a weekly thing.”

My only response is, if I'm an OL, and I'm close enough to almost touch you, I should be able to put a pad on you, barring the DL running some type of twist.

LB's and Db's are the guys who should be subject to whiffs on tackles, etc.

Nothing. When Sims caused his 17th turnover in the first half against Colorado, I turned off the TV and got a lot of shit done around the house. I suspect I will watch the 1st quarter and then get shit done.

The discussion on Bennings show this morning was interesting. The point was made that the dropped snaps was a new problem and that a case could be made that Sims took better care of the ball in the passing game at CU.

Our problem remains that we don’t watch practice. Maybe Purdy and Haarberg are interception machines practice. In this case ignorance is NOT bliss. Many fans want to KNOW if somebody else can do a better job.

I take that to mean Sims is going to get another chance but get the hook if he turns it over.

The trifecta for Sims will be if he starts coughing up the ball when he's carrying it.

The thing I don't like about the Depth Chart: Offensively, there are 4 positions that go 3 deep or deeper. Of those 4 positions only 2 contain an OR.

Defensively, it is strictly 2 deep. So we see no Gbayor no Van Poppel. It would nice to see what the full 3-4 deep depth chart looks like.

Even then it doesn’t really matter. The thing I’m seeing is that everywhere but QB guys are getting snaps if they’re close. Rhule is running full scale auditions everywhere but QB but even then he refused to put Sims back in the game after he tweaked his ankle. That wasn’t just meant to protect Sims.

purdy has proven to be an INT machine in actual games. 3 INT in 49 attempts while never throwing the ball farther than 18 yards downfield.

he doesn't belong in the discussion for playing time.

I just for the life of me don't know how the Preacher expects us to level these two comments, uttered mere moments apart in the same goddamn press conference:

"I’m not a big ‘set it in stone’ kind of guy."

"Jeff is our quarterback."

about as diametrically opposed as two phrases can possibly get

which is it?!

It seems obvious that both Rhule and Satt feel Sims might be the only way to get to 6 wins.

We just don't know what the deal is with HH or Purdy in practice, because we definitely know what the deal is with Sims during an actual football game.

It's not that hard when you don't leave out part of the quote....like the part when he says that Sims has to stop turning the ball over.

I do think Rhule is playing with some fire here. He rolls Sims out there Saturday and it is a shit show the fan base is gonna turn pretty nasty.

we do know the deal with purdy

there is no reason to type his name ever again

Of course it does with Purdy. If Sims is nursing a bad ankle and is unable to go, who is gonna be HH's backup in the event he plays poorly or gets injured? We have to have somebody.

HH's lack of experience will probably account for at least one or two turnovers if he asked to throw the ball downfield. The drop-off from Sims to HH and Chuba is pretty steep, so you go with Sims and hope he cuts down on turnovers as the season progresses. He also is a major weapon on offense because of his legs.

HH or Chuba cannot get this team to six wins this year. Maybe next year, but not this year. Sims can if he can reduce the turnovers.

What will I do if HH doesn’t start? I guess then I’ll watch Sims play awful football. I mean what kind of question is the OP?

Then I guess I’ll also listen to Matt Rhule give his BS press conference again on how they think sims is fantastic. The same idiotic shit eating press conference he made in Carolina for years. Dude better realize; that even the suckers of this world like Johnny Nutsack or dingleberry will eventually catch on to the BS.

Haarberg has exactly the same number of TD passes and has led just one less TD drive than sims and he's played 8 minutes

this comment means nothing and is based on less than nothing.

Dude, you really need to quit telling members their comment(s) or opinions don't matter, because they do.
You don't have to agree with them, but every single member is entitled to his/her opinion.
If you don't like what they say, put them on your Ignore list.
That's what I do, but it doesn't (and shouldn't) stop others from reading what they have to say.

if they're baseless, they don't matter to me.

I'm not telling them not to post.

they should know where they stand and they are welcome for my candor.

"he gives us the best chance to win" is a non-opinion based on nothing.

Then put them on Ignore because you lack the authority to decide who posts or doesn't post, or who matters to you or who doesn't.

Your candor is insulting to people who have the same equal rights on this board as you do.

And the majority are still working on their original avatar.

I can be a mean-spirited prick too, just try me, but that's not the purpose of a forum.

I never put people on ignore and I never tell anyone not to post.

I want to see and read everything.

that specific opinion is a non-thought that is meaningless to me.

are you now telling me not to post my opinion?

Okay Mr. Omission Editor. Show me where I told you or anybody not to post on this forum.

For you to say you want to see and read everything is BOGUS. You just want to know who is the next target that doesn't agree with you.

I think you're losing your cool over a backup QB that hasn't proven anything to anyone.

What's your next avatar gonna be "Mr. Revisionist"?

take a lap, pal.

yea, okay.

I don't take orders from you little man. Unless you've got Moderator as a title, you don't give orders to anybody.
this sentence makes literally - LITERALLY - zero sense:

Its clear as day. Are you a Moderator?

You do lack the authority to decide anything on here.

The only decision you are free to make on this forum is what you choose to post. Nothing more, nothing less.
