He has experience on Purdy. I think Purdy given the snaps and staying healthy could produce similar results. My impression of Rattler is tainted by watching him throw multiple ridiculous INTs at OU then throwing tantrums when he was benched.

Pretty sure I read where Satt was down to using a TE at RB by the end of the season. Still had over 1590 yards rushing. They also beat Clemson and Tennessee that year. They finished the year ranked 23rd.
They had a little over 1k rushing this season. Didn't finish inside the top 25.

This is your problem. Not to worry about replacing LB's who are some of the most difficult position players to develop. We were just adequate there, not earth shattering, who is behind them - oh some redshirt freshmen? This is going to be an area to watch next year. Our DB's were just average at best.

And, Sark identified that Herman's recruiting on the OL and DL was atrocious. In fact, we didn't have enough scholarship OL (9) to run a true 1 vs 2s in his first Spring Game. Sark brought in 7 OL in his first class, including Banks who started at LT his true freshman year. He saw first hand at Alabama what an excellent offensive line can do, especially for a power running/RPO based offense. OL aren't usually the flashy 5 star guys but they're who you need to build an offense around (obviously with a good QB).

Impossible. He was barely above .500 at Washington, then a drunk at USC. That's what he should always have been going forward.
