Maybe Smothers is injured and we just don't know? I have no earthly idea. I've given up trying to figure anything out this season. Much easier to watch the whooping that way.

The problem with your statement is that Smothers is a better passer than Purdy. There is no reason for this kid to be playing other than Whipple is a dumb ass and Mickey doesn't have the balls to tell him who to play.

I have two drives of evidence last week which were better drives than Purdy has put together in 8 quarters of play.
