The straw that broke the Camel's back

This is it for me. I'm not calling for Rhule's head, he gets 3 years, I think that is fair, he needs to have a chance to fix this. But, I've lost hope, sure don't see Rhule fixing this. So many things wrong.

Offense is, well it's horrible. One ****ing TD is all they could score, barely over 300 total yards. It's just bad. I know it's not fair to judge Holgorsen after one game after taking over in the middle of the season, but this offense didn't look any better than 2 weeks ago. The issues on offense are much deeper than a playcaller. Playcalling was never our issue, poor execution is. Our offense does their job pretty dang bad. Blocking, routes etc. are just not done well. QB play has not been good. Raiola looks like a scared Freshman out there, is easily confused, throws to covered WRs and misses open ones. OL has moved up to average, but isn't consistently good in the run game or pass game, just average, like the rest of the offense. A bunch of average players that execute poorly lead to really bad offensive production.

The defense is pretty good, but isn't a winning defense. When we need a stop, they can't get it. Really struggle on 3rd down. They just can't get off the field. They are good, but not good enough to win games.

ST's are just not special, they are average to bad. They don't set up the offense or defense for success, seldom give us favorable field position.

Overall, we just aren't a good team. We have questionable time out usage and overall time management. Unusual substitution patterns. So far in the Rhule era there are more questions than wins. He's got another year, but I'm doubting that it will lead to success, just to many things going wrong.

Football 8 years without a bowl
Basketball never won a tournament game
Baseball hasn't made it out of a regional in 19 years
Wrestling can't crack top 3 in 30 years

No end in sight. Has to be the worst ROI in college athletics. Great fan support, money spent, just crappy results.

Not terrible, just good enough to keep interest and the money coming in and crush the souls of fans.

Next coaching moves, in order

The following needs to happen

1) satterfield- losers mentality to keep him in the staff. Obvious.

2) McGuire: obvious.

3) John butler: perhaps it’s rhules meddling in a quarters defense, but the results this year are horrendous.

4) Foley: I slid him down from what should be an obvious #1 because I don’t think MR cares about special teams to begin with which makes this role irrelevant.

5) Glen Thomas : DR was at one point a fantastic freshman with great potential. Hes now a freshman who looks timid, scared and shouldn’t be playing power five football right now. It’s sad to see his regression and I’m not sure how the passing game coordinator and qb coach overseeing his fall has a job.

6) Uncle DR: regression regression regression. I’d prefer to see an oc that can call a game with rhythm before casting complete judgment, but we need an overhaul here. I actually think he’s equipped for a power run ol, but that clearly isn’t what rhule wants.

Rhule is skating on awfully thin ice and has clearly wrecked the psych of this team. Last year we showed promise and improvement but we can’t say the same this year.
