The Huskers most important need this offseason is upgrading the offensive line. That's no surprise to anyone on this board and folks that watched the games last season.
As you all know Nebraska hosted two important transfer targets in the last few days. Stanford offensive tackle
Walter Rouse visited Nebraska last after visiting Oklahoma and Iowa. The big man (6-6, 318) texted me earlier tonight and said that his decision is coming in a day or two. He declined to elaborate more or tip his hand but sources indicate that he is pretty torn between each of his finalists. I do not think he's made his mind up 100% yet.
Then there is former Baylor offensive lineman
Micah Mazzccua. He announced that he would announce his decision on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. and he will choose between Nebraska, Auburn and Florida. A very good sign here for Nebraska is that Mazzccua extended his stay in Lincoln while on the trip, delaying his visit with Florida. He did make it to Gainesville and this feels like a two-team race between Nebraska and Florida.

I really like Nebraska's position with Mazzccua (6-5, 331) and I'm predicting him to pick Nebraska on Tuesday night. The prior connection with Rhule is there since Rhule recruited him to Baylor. The Huskers are also creating a strong presence in Philadelphia where the lineman is originally from. This would also be the second big win this offseason for offensive line coach Donovan Raiola.
