OT: Women who read dirty novels at the pool

I've got the day off and hanging out at the neighborhood pool with my kids. A lot of the soccer moms, aged 25 to 60, are reading books with similar titles.

I have no clue what these books are about, but I'm starting to think their might be a large number of bored moms in my neighborhood. Here are some of the titles I'm seeing:

Does It Hurt
The Couple Next Door
Slammed
The Arrangement
The Sinner
A Court of Frost and Starlight

Baseball Nebraska gets a commitment from Iowa Western 1B transfer Tyler Stone

For the second straight season Nebraska adds a corner infielder through the portal and this time it’s 1B Tyler Stone from Iowa Western.

Stone hit .360 with 15 HR and 66 RBI in 44 games in his lone season at Iowa. The 6-foot-2 Stone will have two seasons of eligibility after spending his first college season at Gonzaga. Reminds me of the Charlie Fischer pickup from last offseason.

Football Danny Kaelin shines at Elite 11 Pro Day competition

Daniel Kaelin shined during tonight's Pro Day competition at the Elite 11 Finals. The Husker QB commit earned 43 points (out of 50) from the Elite 11 coaching staff and finished tied for 5th place out of the 20 QBs who competed. Official standings:

1 – Alabama 5-star commit Julian Sayin – 49 pts
2 – Texas Tech 4-star commit Will Hammond – 45 pts

T3 – Georgia 5-star commit Dylan Raiola – 44 pts
T3 – Notre Dame 4-star commit CJ Carr – 44 pts

T5 – Nebraska 3-star commit Daniel Kaelin – 43 pts
T5 – Colorado 3-star commit Danny O'Neil – 43 pts
T5 – Uncommitted 3-star Trever Jackson – 43 pts

T8 – Uncommitted 4-star Elijah Brown – 42 pts
T8 – Penn State 3-star commit Ethan Grunkemeyer – 42
T8 – LSU 4-star commit Colin Hurley – 42 pts
T8 – Florida 4-star commit DJ Lagway – 42

Kaelin had a decent all-around performance at Day 1 on Wednesday but was expected to bounce back in a big way during the Pro Day competition, and he delivered. Elite 11 wraps up tomorrow with the 7-on-7 tournament.

Funny note: They handed Kaelin the phone for the Instagram Live stream for the final QB of the night (Utah commit Isaac Wilson), and the stream was a lot more bearable (to use one word) with him running commentary.

Recruiting Recruiting question of the day: Why aren't more five and four-stars considering Nebraska right now?

It’s that time for submissions again. You ask a recruiting question and I’ll answer tomorrow morning. What’s on your mind?!

UPDATE: Here is the story. Thanks for the submissions and discussion!

Mrs. Bomber's email for condolences.

Our longtime friend and poster @IM4NUalways dropped me a line today and asked me to pass this along to the group. I didn't see it in Aaron's post this morning so my apologies if someone else has already put this out. IM4NU called Mary Ann and asked if it would be okay to post and she said yes. The following I've pasted in from IM's message to me:

If you would like to send condolences, memories, thoughts or anything yore heart sees fit below is the email of his wife. She will appreciate it.

I know its early on in the process so send as you see fit. She is obviously heartbroken.
