FYI for Anyone Travelling to Minneapolis

Minneapolis is an absolute criminal disaster right now, and the Dinkytown and campus areas are no exception. Rest assured, these elements are just waiting for night football games to target out of towners and the plates on your vehicles will be red flags. Park in lit areas if you can, move in groups, don't carry anything over your shoulder, leave nothing in your vehicles and don't cut down alleyways or narrow passes. The ordinary media does you no justice in terms of awareness, but these sites will help you get your minds right before entering the belly of the beast:

So Cal area husker watch parties...

Hello,

I just recently moved to Seal Beach and looking for a good watch party. Some of the places I've found on HuskerMax (Gramercy Santa Monica, Chelsea's Pub in Hermona) are closed per Google.

Any advice any locals have would be appreciated. I see there is a place in Orange called Danny K's - just wanted to know if that is the place most OC people are going.

Football Barthel on the radio: The Buford Boys, Johnson & Johnson and more

Here are the highlights from E.J. Barthel's interview on Huskers Radio Network tonight:

  • Poll
Who left the biggest roster mess?

Who left the biggest roster mess?

  • Frost

    Votes: 159 47.0%
  • Riley

    Votes: 144 42.6%
  • Pelini

    Votes: 35 10.4%

With the depth chart out, you can really see the sad state that Frost left the roster at some positions. WR, OL, TE, LB, QB are all perilous thin where an injury could really impact the season. Initially I thought Frost was doing a good job building the roster up, but his last 2 years here were devastating and really weakened the program.

While Pelini and Riley left some holes in the roster, Frost seems to have left it in a worse shape overall. If Rhule can get this team to a bowl game it will be an exceptional effort.
