Chick-Fil-A Coming to Memorial Stadium

I finally tried chick fil a last year and wondered if I was at the right place after hearing all of the hype about it and then taking my first bite
It's not a life changing chicken sandwich as some make it out to be. But, what it lacks in flavor, it makes up for in undeniably quality ingredients.

But Popeye's still crushes it if you're strictly trying to go to flavor town. You might feel like shit after eating it tho...

I would definitely take Runza or Val's over Chick Fil a, no way they should be charging more. Maybe they're trying to make up for lost Sunday revenue?

agreed

sneaky the fried chicken breakfast biscuit at Chick-Fil-A might be their best menu item

Shit. This thread just made me head to the CFA website to look at their current menu offering, and I see they're now offering a chicken sandwich with pimento cheese.

As a sucker for pimento cheese....I am intrigued.

And their customer service is top notch. Best in the business when it comes to large fast food joints. I saw a funny meme about it once & it went along the lines of;

Chick-Fil-A drive thru: Welcome to Chick-Fil-A. I hope you're having a great day. How may I help you?
McDonalds drive thru: Whatchu want?

LOL!!

As someone who lived in South Carolina I never understood the excitement for Chik Fil A. Kids got free coupons for good grades and we wouldn't go cause they were just dry chicken sandwiches.

The pimento cheese must be a new addition. I have pimento cheese sandwiches every Master Week and as you can't get decent pimento cheese outside of South Carolina I make my own.

The nice thing about raising canes is. If your car is low on oil, you can squeeze your chicken tender over your oil filler cap after you remove it and top it off while you're eating.
OMG, truth. Canes is tasty once in awhile but you better be prepared for your ass looking like a Japanese flag in about 90 minutes.

When I was in fourth grade in the 50’s and attending a country school in Kansas we took a field trip to Fairbury. We toured Ruuds. It was a good thing we were all country kids because we saw the slaughter process from first to last. We saw things that probably would get a school board recalled today. Anyway they gave us free hot dogs when it was over. I was hooked and have been ever since. Nothing better to eat at the Stadium than Fairbury hotdogs.

Pass. Never understood the hype. Throw in In-N-Out Burger along with Chick-fil-A as the most over hyped fast food. 🤮
Yeah on Chick. I'm not much into chicken sandwiches to start with but went there once when the Sunday bruhaha was going on just to check it out. Not impressed, a dry sandwich IMO.

However, I have to beg to differ on In-N-Out. I ate there once a year when I renewed my personal trainer license, which was a 9-hour workout at the LA Convention Center. I got two double double orders and it was beyond awesome.

I think you have to get the fixings to get the effect people rave about. Their chicken quality in my experience is more consistent than most but I just can’t eat those yummy toppings anymore. Burp. Remember when a Big Mac was the best anybody could wish for? We’re so spoiled with all the restaurant choices we have these days that fast food just doesn’t do it for me anymore.

Chick-Fil-A?

Let me know when they offer a 4-pack of Poppy Seed Kolaches and the box plays 'In Heaven There Is No Beer' when you open it.

They are pretty smart because they are going to sell thousands of those. I was at a music festival this summer and Chick-fil-A pulled up with a food truck. They were there for probably 10 hours. The line was long all day. I estimate they made $15-$20,000 that day in revenue with three employees.

Never had one 🤷‍♂️

Overrated…save some money and get one at the restaurant if you must.

I would always take a Runza Double Cheeseburger and crispy fries over Chick-fil-A.

Well…I always do that at the Runza in Lawrence or when in Lincoln. Winking

I had things called Barrias out of a burrito food truck last week. Damn. Best ethnic food I’ve ever eaten. Fresh cilantro etc.

I usually sneak in 10-12 shooters for me and my friends.

One guy always buys soda and food. So it looks like a diet coke, chicken sandy and shooters!
