On Tuesday: VB coach John Cook, Satterfield, White and players available late morning and early afternoon + WBB coach Amy Williams and Hoiberg are expected to be available. Gonna be a busy day so buckle up!

Yes, win now is possible. Deion is doing it, Mel Tucker did it. Many other coaches have gotten poorer teams bowl eligible in year 1.

I am a fan, and I love DONU, but if it takes three years, I think I'd prefer to leave and come back. I don't mean support a different team, just do other things on Saturdays and check the scores later. I did that today. While disappointed, I'm also feeling no emotion about it, which is better than being amped up about something I have no control over.

Rutgers 7 Mich 7 . Michigan doesn't look overpowering, yet. Northern Illinois still looks like they left their offense in Lincoln.

Jackson Cantwell is one of the best players in the country for the 2026 class. He'll be make a trip to Lincoln next week. This will be a recruitment to watch for the Huskers. He's got family ties to Nebraska and Missouri.

We got a lot of extra players on the side media session last night. Here are three more takeaways from what those guys said.

You fools crying about Rhule and how Sanders is so much better. You hint about race and age . You must be young people that don't know enough about the game. Sanders doesn't play , either does Rhule. It what world do you expect to win games when you have more turnovers and penalties ? Sims vs Sanders at QB , come on man. This is a rebuild, if you didn't know it , now you do. Trying to compare coaches with totally different talent levels is not smart either. Colorado was bad last year , probably not this year. Their roster has flipped , ours didn't. Could Sanders win with our roster ? Phuck no. Our guys are average at best. I'm guessing most of you were too young to Remember most of our Oklahoma duels. They won with better players, ask Barry. It's Jimmy and Joes , not X's and O's. If we had Sanders at QB we're 2-0 and everyone is singing. It's frustrating but it's we need talent.
