Rivals national recruiting analyst Nick Harris reported tonight that he has dropped a FutureCast for the Huskers to land Texas four-star 2023 DE Princewill Umanmielen. Nick also has Nebraska as one of the teams that could be in the mix for four-star 2023 safety Jayven Anderson.

With Evan Cooper down in the Sunshine State, I'll take any conspiracy theory I can get

Not that there seemed to be much doubt but there was some noise that UCLA might have been prevented from leaving the PAC. But the California regents officially gave the OK to the move. They did recommend UCLA pay some financial compensation upon leaving but that appears to be a voluntary contribution and not mandatory.

Today, we had 5 confirmed and 12 reported tornadoes. One hit a block away from my job at the Sam's Club. I came upon this 18-wheeler that the storm had thrown sideways into some trees on a roadway between Walmart and Sam's Club here in Grapevine. After I saw this truck blocking my roadway, I pulled over into the Walmart and took this pic. Then I called 911 to report it.



This photo was sent to me by a Sam's Club employee. That a/c unit used to be on the roof!

I said last week that Ohio State was evaluating OT Ajani Cornelius, the Huskers' No. 1 transfer target out of Rhode Island. But I wasn't sure if OSU would offer.

Nebraska getting him on campus for an OV last weekend was big. But now that Ohio State has offered, the push to land one of the nation's top transfer targets just got A LOT more difficult and will only get harder once more programs on the level of OSU come calling with an offer (like I expect Alabama will do and potentially Georgia).
