Read that Alante Brown will be back on the team. He is evidently dealing with some personal problems. I have always liked him and think he could be great part of the receiving corp.

Kudos to Fred and the team for the improvement this year, but tonight’s loss was so very Nebraska Men’s Athletics - Any sliver of hope for a good end to the season is always promptly followed by a horrible loss…it’s become part of the DNA.

I’m down in Texas for the Under Armour Camp tomorrow but I also caught up with TE Ismael Smith Flores and WR Jeremiah Charles at their high school. Just wrapped the interview and will get the video edited when I get back to the hotel.

It's another rainy, dreary affair at Haymarket Park between Nebraska (8-4-1) and Illinois State (5-7) today at 4:05 p.m. The Huskers have won eight of their last nine games including a solid 8-3 series-opening win yesterday where Brice Matthews hit his fourth home run of the year while Emmett Olson turned in his second-straight quality start by tossing six innings. I don't imagine this is too interesting to most, but a ref just decided a D2 game between Santee and Shelton. Santee had a 1 point lead and was inbounding the ball with a second to play. There was contact and a Shelton player flopped (my opinion) and baited the ref into calling a technical. Shelton makes the free throws, game over. Just brutal. Video in the link below.
