Raiola will transfer at the end of the year

Excited to have him on our team. However, the offense continues to be a dumpster fire with no end insight. He has a track record of moving from school to school. Played for 3 different High Schools across the country and changed commitment to 3 different colleges.
Why would he stay here with a continued nightmare of an offensive line? He would benefit by transferring to a top school that has a track record of protecting passing QBs. A QB at N has to be an elite scrambler to survive. Sorry, but this will happen just watch it unfold.

UCLA players walking out to the field for the first time. Can't really tell from the picture, but they're all wearing slick powder blue suits.

This will be the first matchup between Nebraska and UCLA since 2015, the Foster Farms Bowl which NU won 37-29. With a win today, the Huskers will qualify for a bowl game for the first time since 2016.

UCLA won despite some questionable officiating - must be nice…

UCLA 9 penalties for 62 yards
Nebraska 2 penalties for 15 yards

And if we are honest, a couple of those PF’s were terrible calls against the Bruins. So, how do they respond? Play through the officiating that goes against you and still make enough plays to win the game. What a novel concept.

Take note Matt Rhule.

A Bad sign for the future....

9:58 Left in game
Trailing 27-13
Need 2 Scores

1st and Ten from Nebraska 48 yard line.
2nd play: Snaps w/ 8 seconds left (incomplete pass, clock stops)
3rd play: Snaps w/ 8 seconds left
4th play: Snaps with 12 seconds left (incomplete pass, clock stops)
5th play: Snaps with 6 seconds left
6th play: Snaps with 21 seconds left
7th play: Snaps with 17 seconds left
8th play: Snaps with 4 seconds left (incomplete pass, clock stops)
9th play: Snaps with 8 seconds left
10th play: Snaps with 8 seconds left (Raola gets hurt, clock stops)
11th play: Snaps with 21 seconds left
12th Play: Snaps with 8 seconds left
13th Play: Snaps with 2 seconds left (if you count time Raola 2nd injury clock run)
14th Play: Snaps with 21 seconds left

Summary:
Over 6 minutes to go 52 yards, when they needed 2 scores, materially reducing chance of winning
5 times they snapped the ball with less than 8 seconds on play clock with time running
Not once did they go no huddle to lengthen the game
Not once in 14 plays did they attempt to throw in endzone to shorten drive time and lengthen the game (basic concept)
It took them 3 1/2 minutes to go last 8 yards
Basic hurry-up conservatively saves 1:30-2:30 minutes, giving team alot more optons/time on last drive

A bad sign:
A coaching staff that does not understand basic clock management concepts
An offensive play caller that is unsure of what to call
A team that is unsure how to run the offense, has no sense of urgency
