There is nothing that can fix this. It's not fixable. We suck, the end. How many years do you need to watch this trash to realize the happy ending isn't happening? We are the worst major conference program in existence. How about fold the program, wait 10 years until the last scrap of connection to RIGHT NOW is nothing but a distant memory, and then start anew without the mentally fragile 1-150 players and coaches that continue passing this virus on year-after-year? That's as realistic as thinking a different AD is THE solution, FFS.
If they can fix Indiana Nebraska sure as hell can be fixed

Thomas is Co-OC

hilarious collection of posts from @Huskers123456 @Laner2 and @Tuco Salamanca getting their panties in a wad over me having the courage to call another one of Rhule's buddy hires stupid.

no need to rub yall's noses in it though, good opportunity for personal growth and enhanced pattern recognition skills now that you can see i was right about this loser coach (again).
Is this the thread where you argued a guy with 2 different stints as an NFL qb coach wasn't better than Satterfield as a qb coach? Lol

Matt Rhule Monday Press Conference

We have had like no one transfer out the past couple of years (personally, I think that has been a problem). So I can't imagine what he is actually referring to.
He could be projecting his own problems onto the media. Which is what he seems to have been doing the last couple weeks.

You have to ask the question, if you were a talented skill player would you want to play in this offense?

Welcome, "Outside Eyes"!

These last 3 or 4 games it seems to me that Raiola has placed too much pressure on himself and that the coaches have too, making things worse. It has caused him to play too cautiously. I hope he can recover his sense of having fun out there again and to just play football and let his instincts go.
The problem is we all think DR is a stud 5-star QB. He may turn into that but right now unless he has elite talent around him, he is nowhere close to a 5-star QB. We certainly do not have anywhere near enough talent for him to succeed and he is not good enough to overcome it. At least this year.

The last paragraph is a 101 on how to throw your players under the bus.

Edit: here’s the paragraph because it doesn’t show the whole thing on the twitter link.

"This is probably the first time you guys have heard me say: The players have to play. They have to play. They can't just say 'well, did you read what they're saying about Satt?' You are Satt. You are the offense. You're out on the field."
Someone has to be the “fall guy” for players not performing to a standard. All fingers should point to Satt. And if Rhule is the lone guy pointing at the players, he should instead point the thumb back at himself, because he’s next in the chain of command.

Ugh, yeah. In every business situation I've ever witnessed, when they get to the "bring in a consulting firm to try to fix our problems" stage, it's just a bandaid until bankruptcy. Either that, or you're replacing the CEO with a complete overhaul, which will be the case here. Hate to say it, but this feels like a kiss of death move by Rhule. Probably the most disheartening feeling I've had in the last 2 years with this program. He'll get another year and then he's toast. And rinse and repeat

promoting from within was the fiscally sound option.. but Ted Carter nixed that idea.

Troy can promote from within again.. but if Troy and Rhule are buddies.. well then you gotta jettison the AD too if he wants to sit on his hands.

If Rhule does nothing, and Troy does nothing.. then what?

Will the BOR sit on their hands too?

What about Jeffrey Gold?
According to Rhule, Troy told him that going toe to toe with Ohio State means nothing when you can’t replicate that same level of play the next week.

Troy is doing what he should, and that’s allowing Rhule to fail on his own.
