The Offense: 2023 vs 2024

Last year, I felt the offense had overachieved whenever it scored. This year, I feel like we are underachieving offensively.

Results are the same, only the expectations have changed.
I would add that after upgrading the QB position significantly, the bolded is inexplicable.

Last year, I felt like the offensive coaches should get a pass given the brain-dead turnovers and QB passing limitations. This year, I feel like somebody needs to go or a few somebodies.

Of course if we finish 10-3 and the offense is more potent, I will change my mind.

OT: Why is Warren Buffet always ahead of the game?

I'm not factoring it in at current payment rates but I think it's demise is greatly exaggerated. Political suicide to get rid of it and we would probably pay a lot of it out in other forms of assistance anyway.
They are never "getting rid of it" but it makes for great theater and it freaks out a lot of would-be normal people.

Just like in the 80's when they had a bunch of WWIII made for TV movies, "nukes" were going to kill us all.

SIAP....The 1000 pound Gorilla in the room...

Re-read what you wrote.. see all the hype and pressure is coming from the fans and media too. We are our own worst enemy it seems.

I think a lot of the vibe left after the Illinois loss..
I bet that, should they beat UCLA this weekend, the locker room will probably feel like a morgue, wouldn’t you agree? These guys don’t care about bowl games.

In fact, that’s probably why they are losing, so they don’t have to have all those extra practices…
