Dannen Needs A Sixth Win!

I live in Omaha
I notice you said, “I live in Omaha” not, “I’m a Husker fan.”

I can read between the lines enough to know you aren’t a Husker fan. I’m not saying you need to toe the line and be supportive of all things Huskers, but when your only post in the volleyball thread is linking Nebraska’s championship game loss to Texas last year, and have yet to post anything positive about the Huskers in general, it’s pretty obvious you aren’t a Husker fan.

Dannen and B1G refs

The B1G has plenty of money and can afford to pay enough to get quality refs. These guys all have regular jobs, too, if I understand correctly. You get what you pay for.
I don’t know how you change the quality of officiating I mean it’s this way in all of college football it’s not like there is a pile of great refs that you could recruit with big pay checks.

Rhule Wisconsin PC

It's one thing to have a DL or a LB with a foot injury that can flare up without warning.
It's quite another when that player stands between making a play and giving up points.

For this program to make any real progress, some of these coaches need to go.
Just getting lucky and winning #6 in the next two weeks shouldn't factor in those coaches sent packing or not.

Other than Butler, they've all had 2 years to prove their worth at NU.
I think the linebacker and dl coach is doing ok

OT: Las Vegas

Just went last weekend. Stay at the Venetian, 20th floor or higher. Ask for a room facing the Sphere for some really cool free entertainment as it's literally right behind the hotel. If you want to see a show inside of it, it's attached via enclosed walkway. It's also the prettiest hotel in Vegas. Your wife will love it. It's walking distance to everywhere else. Oh, and get the French toast at the Luxe Cafe for breakfast. You'll think you died and gone to heaven.

Football Butler on the radio: Readjusting eyes and taking the "small victories"

John Butler needed to readjust his eyes when going from coaching NFL players to college kids, but not lower expectations. Never do that.

On development he sees and the moment when it triggers for the players.

"It's like fishing — I got the hook in 'em."

Deion had the right idea

Deion didn't develop his son, whom he's coached his entire life?

Travis Hunter was a ready-made Heisman favorite when he committed to Deion at the HBCU?

okay.

as for next year, that's a popular refrain. heard the same thing about them this year, too. we will see.
No Darrell Colbert has been Shadeurs coach for years. Like since he was younger. Deion doesn’t coach him on anything. That guy coaches a bunch of college and high school QBs.

Travis came off the bus being who he is. Deion playing him on offense is the ONLY thing that has made him a Heisman
