fully agreeDid the reporter ask about Coleman’s availability for Saturday? Pretty sure that reporter already knew that his participation with the team this season was spotty at best and he was basically out the door. So it was a bullshit question and it got the proper response.
It’s not so much blaming the kid as it is the injury. He shouldn’t have been on the field. I’ve had that injury. You think you’re better then you apply unusual pressure to it and you experience crippling pain all over again. Mine took months to fully resolve and I wasn’t trying to cover D-1 WRs. Just being able to walk pain free was a win.Probably just an honest oversight but he didn't mention Hill being injured & held out when asked about the injured list... until he was asked specifically about him. And then he blames Hill for touchdowns scored against him in 3 previous games... I THINK that's what I heard.
Yeah, no shit. If these coaches do their freaking jobs we better see 2 starter level CBs from the portal this off season.Letting him play is solely on the coaches. Completely ridiculous and it makes me wonder if the coaches pay attention during the game or watch any tape because the fact that Hill can't move at all is obvious if you pay even just a little bit of attention.
Seems like a reporter was trying to get Rhule to answer a question about a talented local kid with lots of rumors going about. I’m all for it.Did the reporter ask about Coleman’s availability for Saturday? Agreed. Not complaining about the reporter's question. Confused by Rhule's response.Seems like a reporter was trying to get Rhule to answer a question about a talented local kid with lots of rumors going about. I’m all for it.
I thought we wanted reporters to ask the tough questions?
It's one thing to have a DL or a LB with a foot injury that can flare up without warning.Yeah, no shit. If these coaches do their freaking jobs we better see 2 starter level CBs from the portal this off season.
I think the linebacker and dl coach is doing okIt's one thing to have a DL or a LB with a foot injury that can flare up without warning.
It's quite another when that player stands between making a play and giving up points.
For this program to make any real progress, some of these coaches need to go.
Just getting lucky and winning #6 in the next two weeks shouldn't factor in those coaches sent packing or not.
Other than Butler, they've all had 2 years to prove their worth at NU.

I know, I was illustrating the difference between a DLmen or a LB missing a tackle because of a foot injury, and a CB missing a tackle which results in a big play or a touchdown.I think the linebacker and dl coach is doing ok
My oldest got PF at the end of his sophomore track season and we finally got a handle on it months later. In hindsight, they should have sat him before the Ill game. It’s not so much blaming the kid as it is the injury. He shouldn’t have been on the field. I’ve had that injury. We should pay whatever the hell it takes to get Phil Parker to leave Iowa and coach our D.I know, I was illustrating the difference between a DLmen or a LB missing a tackle because of a foot injury, and a CB missing a tackle which results in a big play or a touchdown.
Wasn't dogging the DL or LB coach.
