Exactly, both those teams are a mash unit while we are relatively healthy. Our only real hope though is that they are a little too one dimensional to give our defense fits.I think we we either win the last 2 or drop the last 2. No in between. If we lose these games it's literally due to the fact we don't know how to win. Has nothing to do with roster talent. Been the same story really since 2016.
This is going to cost hundreds of kids the chance to have college paid for by NIL support. There's going to be a lot of high schoolers who would have had a shot at a scholarship at the D2 level to end up at lower levels as those D1 kids flood FCS and D2 programs.Rhule said29-30 will walk on Saturday for senior day. The cut number is closer to 35 . Still a lot . And yes it’s going to be a difficult task. A lot of kids are going to be out off football IMO because everyone had this problem.
tip of the cap to these two (two of my favorite posters) for very early callouts in last December's "Name 2 Under the Radar Recruits Thread":The same 3 star Quinn Clark that some on here insisted the only reason we were taking him was that he was a legacy.... Nepotism recruit....
Clark … because he’s from Montana (and so will be salty and a stud)
I think Quinn Clark will be a big surprise for us
He has 1 win over Creighton as Nebraska coach. One as Iowa state coach.
I do not want to be a pessimist but there is no way a Husker Kicker makes a game winning 46-yard FG with 30 seconds remaining in any game. Until the team gets rid of their loser mentality and plays with confidence this will never happen. The fanatical version of me hopes the Huskers score a touchdown or two early, the offense is able to get their footing, and they ride it out to a 24-10 win.We win it, by squeezing out a 3 from 46 yards out with less than 30 seconds left. Of course UW still manages to reach our 45 yd line in the closing seconds but their Hail Mary is intercepted by… Malcom Hartzog. Huskers 20-17.

Believe it or not Scott Frost was the one that resurrected are walk-on program that was gutted by Callahan. When Riley left there was roughly 130 players on the roster and within a couple years Frost had it over 150, tipping his cap to the Osborne era no doubt.I believe we have the largest roster in all of CFB.
Probably for the P5 . Now theIs the walk-on concept officially dead then? That's BS, can't believe there wasn't more hell raised about this.
long live College Football.College football is dead
College football is deadAs far as I can tell, with the current roster + incoming recruits we are at 171 players. We have 16 players who will have exhausted their eligibility, so that means we will need around 50 players to enter the portal and/or be processed. And this is before adding any players from the portal, so we could be looking at 60+ players leaving the prgram.
Going to be a wild off-season
The problem is all teams have the same issue and with everyone with the roster limit. Some of These kids will, well just be out of football.
Deion didn't develop his son, whom he's coached his entire life?Recruited. Not developed. Just to be clear.
And his team will be hot garbage next season without them. Literally hot garbage.
