I wonder what they pitched to him during recruitment on the S&C side? Need to lose 150 lbs, is that a 2 or 3 year plan?
This is wrong. I fear for this young man's health and if TCU doesn't exhaust all reasonable medical assessments to determine if he is suitable to play football then shame on them.
He played on a good HS football team. Had some decent offers. He has some talent. He clearly has to work on his body and his health before he can contribute at a Power5 level. I hope he changes his body or else he probably won't live past 40.

In all honesty I hope he makes huge strides and uses their nutrition and strength program(s) to his max benefit...mad props to him and good luck to him and his challenge that lays ahead.
