Bangot Dak, the 6'11" freshman from Lincoln SE, got his first non-garbage time minutes for Colorado today. Seems to have developed a bit physically, and looks to have some serious upside. Hope someone at NU keeps an eye on him, because he's exactly the type of player Tad Boyle will peg for playing time in 2026 and then be shocked when he hits the transfer portal.

Huskers have an intriguing team to me. Seems they went out and got some big men with skills and then complemented it with experienced guards. We have an older team now with skilled athletes that know how to play team basketball. That's a very good harbinger for success.

Look at San Diego State last season. They had a really old team with some bigger bodies. Not a lot of skilled guys...maybe two guys that had some offensive skills but they got to the championship game.

Also excited to see the freshmen we brought in. Heard some nice things about Eli Rice. 6'7" kid with perhaps more to his game than McGowens had. Diop also one I look forward to developing.

I wouldn't bet on a hoiberg coached team with your money
