I’m aware of Tominagas injury but I also noticed Juwan Gary and Blaise Keita didn’t play tonight. I didn’t watch with sound on tonight so if it was discussed I missed it. Are they injured?

Blaise has a chronic foot issue and you might not see him again and Gary is suspended for violating team rules. Someone may know what he did.

Michigan State lost to James Madison. This means the Big 10 is going to be viewed as shitty this year. Going to probably need 23 wins to get to the tournament 22-10 isn't gonna do it. Everyone remember that, because I do and I am still bitter about that screw job.

MSU got absolutely hosed on two awful calls in the last 2 minutes in regulation. No doubt the last call cost them the game. FWIW James Madison looked pretty good but all I saw was the last minutes and the OT. JM had a couple of guys who could rain 3s.

Maybe the bad calls were makeup from crappy officiating in the football game

Izzo probably didn't work the officials hard enough throughout the game. Maybe he should try curling up in a fetal position at midcourt and screaming uncontrollably.

The Huskers' win total will matter much less than who they actually beat. They really only have the opportunity for 3 or 4 meaningful wins out of conference, and will have to capitalize on a couple of those.

They will get to work over the Jays again, for some reason that will be considered a good win, so there is that one.

Lion’s share of folks here will choose to ignore this correct opinion

Huskers have an intriguing team to me. Seems they went out and got some big men with skills and then complemented it with experienced guards. We have an older team now with skilled athletes that know how to play team basketball. That's a very good harbinger for success.

Look at San Diego State last season. They had a really old team with some bigger bodies. Not a lot of skilled guys...maybe two guys that had some offensive skills but they got to the championship game.

Also excited to see the freshmen we brought in. Heard some nice things about Eli Rice. 6'7" kid with perhaps more to his game than McGowens had. Diop also one I look forward to developing.

Eight minutes left in the game and Mast has 20 points 15 rebounds. Eli Rice scored in double figures in the 1st half.

We comin' Creighton.

Creighton looks really good. I watched a little bit of them a couple of nights ago and they have multiple starters who can drill 3s. ☹️ They need to be cold the day we play them.

Just tipped off on BTN vs. Rider.

So far I like the ball movement and movement without the ball. Would like to see Lawrence to look to score, though. You can be a playmaker and still put up 20 points, and Lawrence is talented enough to do that.

Tominaga looks like he's going to shoot damn near every time he touches the ball. I'm sure he'll calm down a little.

As Schuele has always said, he's at his best when he's moving without the ball and making layups off of cuts.
He can get crazy hot when he’s forcing shots but when he’s cold it’s ugly. He probably needs to learn when he’s taken 3 3s and barely drawn iron…maybe he should pass the ball.

Agree with the BTN analyst that the Huskers need to generate some transition offense. They're not terrible in the half court, but they will struggle to score against better competition. Take advantage of your depth and get up and down the court, and make teams pay for missed shots.
