Yeah but you don’t call that middle school foul on the final seconds of a game like that. They should’nt have let it get that close,but finicky call.

Totally correct call, jays made an idiotic play.
Yes, correct call in a rec league game. Not in the elite 8 when you’ve been letting more blatant fouls go all game.
I can't stand Creighton, but that was a bullshit call. I thought Plantation Greg was going to punch that ref.
It was a ticky tac foul for the way they called the game. But San Diego state earned the win. It was a grinder and they made the last play. Thought maybe CU would run something like UCLA did with 1 second left to give themselves a shot.
Hated the last call because the refs allowed way more contact than that the entire game. The pretty boy ref who blew the whistle reacted to the head jerk, which I don't think was caused by a hand on the hip.
But McDermott shit the bed by ordering his players to give their 6th foul with 7 seconds left. Save that foul and use it at the start of the last drive. That was just a stupid decision that gave SDSU more of an opportunity to score.
Jays had their chances to take control of the game and didn't - and that's not on the refs. Should have gone to OT, though.

Nemhard chose to play SDSU style defense at the end of the game and the refs decided to call a foul they hadn’t called all game. Oh well.

Had they called the game like that start to finish then it’s the right call. The refs let SDSU get away with that stuff on defense the entire game.

I’m not a Creighton fan, but I don’t waste my time getting all worked up about them either. Seems weird.

It was a foul but the way that game was called that should not have been called! That was not a foul for the first 59 and 1/2 minutes it is not a foul then for sure!

we did beat Creighton this year. Thats the only game I really root “against” Creighton.

Doesn’t answer why you are all worked up about a team from Nebraska that does well.
You gripe about Creighton being on a Husker Board. Yet you put Creighton on a Husker Board. Not that hard.
Can’t believe either the Owls or Aztecs will be in the National Championship game. Not sure what this tournament proved, maybe no team was really any good, there’s a ton of parity in college hoops these days, and you need to be damn lucky with matchups and draws to make it all the way through

Nembhard not having the use of his right hand for the last part of the game couldn't have helped. Also the chop that made Nembhard lose feeling in his right hand was not called a foul. I get you can't call them all and on that last play that shot was not going in... Call or not. It's a bummer.
