We say that every year . I think we're heading in the right direction but I'm over winning the off season in our minds. I want to beat Iowa Wisc, Minn, etc, I don't care about some recruiting ranking. Recruiting has always been good , it hasn't produced like it should have. I await results , period. Next year if we have a winning record this board will be talking NC's. Crazy. I guess it's all we got so it keeps some people warm , I get it.
Not really fair to call Washington a losing program. They had one losing season in 2021, but before that they had a run of like 10 straight winning seasons including a Playoff appearance under Chris Petersen and multiple Pac-12 Championships and "BCS" bowl appearances.
Well then I suppose we will see you back here in August when the season starts. For the next 8 months it will be nothing but off season stuff and discussions about winning the off season.

Even the board Eeyore would have to admit that the late adds including Shavers, Tarver and Raiola in the new class, Dowdell and the Wyoming/TX kid from the portal, with Banks and the ILB from Cuse as possible adds is a nice step in a positive direction.

Pretty sure White recruited the kid. He's bigger than Bullock and Wright. He's comparable in size to Gbayor. Reimer and Heinrich. Could be a good fit in the middle on running downs.
I can concede that point to you, but you have to admit it cuts both ways. In fact I would say that doom and gloom pessimists are far more exhausting than sunshine pumpers. Even if they are misguided positive people make you feel better, dealing with Debbie Downers on a daily basis makes a person want to eat a bullet.
Additionally, every single thing that happens to this program over the next 8 months can be written off as “on paper it looks ok, I want to see it on the field next fall.” Well no shit, so does everyone else. But for the next 8 months Rhule is not going to beat iowa, Wisconsin or anyone else on the field. Every accomplishment or failure going forward will be during the offseason, does that mean we can’t celebrate anything until September? Cause it really doesn’t matter how positive or encouraging the event is it can be written off as nothing of substance.
Yeah, I hear you. However, I think the true doom and gloom debbie downer types are like 1-20 to the sunshine pumpers...at least. It's when someone is just being rational and objective, which is the case 95% of the time, and the sunshine crowd piles on that they're trolls or tells them to go cheer for another team or whatever that beats me down.
I just won't be able to sleep at night if I can't recite fairy tales to the kids.
Sounds like maybe hanging out on this board all off-season isn't a good place for you. Might want to check back in September. I doubt the hype is going down with the #1 qb recruit starting winter conditioning soon.

Actually now, facts equal positivity. NU added the 2024 #1 QB/#2 overall, two other 2024 top 100s, the 2023 #6 RB and a nice big bodied receiver. There are some other fine prospects in the 2024 class as well.Facts = Negativity......
