I know we've had a lot of predictions about our record in 2022. I'm going to go in another direction, lets talk about the teams we're going to play and what strength's and weakness they have. You don't have to write about every team only the ones you may know about.
1. Northwestern-Ireland
2. North Dakota
3. Georgia Southern
4. Oklahoma
5. Indiana
6. Rutgers
7. Purdue
8. Illinois
9. Minnesota
10. Michigan
11. Wisconsin
12. Iowa

I think Oklahoma is going to take a step back this year they lost both quarterbacks and a HC and have to start over with both QB's and a HC who was a defensive specialist. It's going to take some time for them to get it going imo.

I think Indiana was a flash in the pan even though I like their HC they lost Penix a dynamic QB who could keep them in games against most teams.

Rutgers is a team I feel is on the rise and will give all comers all they want. Greg Schiano is a solid coach and a coach spurned by the Tennessee idiots.

These are just a few teams I feel I will see surprise and some who will struggle.

1. Northwestern-Ireland -- WIN
2. North Dakota -- WIN
3. Georgia Southern -- WIN
4. Oklahoma -- probable LOSS
5. Indiana -- probable WIN
6. Rutgers -- WIN
7. Purdue -- TOSSUP
8. Illinois -- probable WIN
9. Minnesota -- TOSSUP
10. Michigan - probable LOSS
11. Wisconsin -- TOSSUP
12. Iowa -- TOSSUP
I don't think there are any lock losses on the schedule. But there is a strong uncertainty factor. I'd say the 2022 record ranges from 6-6 to 10-2.

Northwestern was really bad on both sides of the ball. They improved throughout the season from unbelievably terrible (when we played them) to slightly better, but still really bad.

North Dakota went 5-6, including a closer than the score would say 48-24 loss to a pretty good Utah St team. UND actually led 21-7 after a quarter, 21-20 at half, and then trailed 27-24 after 3 qtrs. They also only lost 16-10 vs champ North Dakota St. Their other losses were by 7, 3, 4, and 3 pts, all to FCS playoff teams. Sounds familiar.....

Georgia Southern fired their coach early in the season. They made the first hire, grabbing Clay Helton after USC fired him. This is a rebuild, as GaSo has really fallen off the last couple years. I would anticipate this being our easiest game of the year.

Oklahoma - interested to see their roster after all is said and done with the portal. Gabriel certainly looks like he'll be the QB. Defend the deep ball and get pressure in his face, especially from his left side amd you're in good shape vs him. Our QB didn't do too bad vs them last year....20/34 for 388 yards, 5 TDs, 0 Ints.

The four teams at the bottom of the schedule are going to be the toughest part of the schedule. Nebraska will have four games to start the season at home. I like the fact that it gives our defense and most importantly our offense time to gel. I feel the road games and there are five of them will be tough however we only play 2 of the last four on the road and we get 6 of the first 8 games at home not to mention we have two bye weeks.

I'm not including the NW game in Ireland because that's a neutral site. I feel we may see a slow start for the offense as Nebraska transitions with a new OC and our DL works to adjust to playing most every down.

I don't know much about the other conference schools so anyone who has any information it's always welcome.
