“Good ole Nebraska football” during the Georgia state 4A championship game

I’m watching Cedartown vs Benedictine in the Georgia state 4A championship game on local TV and sure enough the commentator just said “That reminds me of good ole, smash mouth, Nebraska football with Joel Mackovica running people over”. The fullback that he is referencing is 250lbs and just an absolute beast.

S&C question-is 8 months with a different approach enough for us to see a difference?

I assume we should notice a difference by fall in movement with a new regimen if the stories we heard of the differences between duvall and now. If its talent we may not see it but for some hoping we see a difference in quickness, explosiveness etc. Any of you with more experience here/coaches want to chime in?

Matt Painter maybe said it best after the game:

"They’re gonna beat some people. They’re not beating some people here, they’re gonna beat people on the road, too.”

Here's more from Saturday's game in which the Huskers fought hard, but came up short in overtime against the No. 4 team in the country, Purdue.
