About 6 weeks ago I asked for prayers for my new born great-grandson Bennett. After spending 7 weeks at Children's Hospital in Omaha, Bennett was able to come home yesterday. Thank you for all your prayers. I believe in the power of prayer. The doctors and staff at Children's are amazing. If anyone is looking for a charity to give to, I hope you consider Children's hospital in Omaha. Once again thank you.

Going Mar 29-Apr 2 with friends and wives. haven't golfed there in years..Staying at Mandalay Bay. Need help with best value deals for golf and maybe a dinner place or two. Don't want outrageous prices but not necessarily skimping either. (don't wanna top $175ish/golf and $70ish steak)...we are not RSS rich 🤷‍♂️

The Huskers are projected to finish 5th in the B1G according to the preseason coaches’ poll released Thursday. Maryland are the conference favorites after reaching a regional final last year on their home field.

Rutgers is No. 2, Iowa No. 3 and Illinois is No. 4. Nebraska avoids the Scarlett Knights on their schedule.

Max Anderson, Brice Matthews and Emmett Olson also earned Big Ten preseason honors. The Huskers kick off the regular season tomorrow when they face San Diego at 8 p.m. C.T.

Caught up with Husker basketball commit Eli Rice, who's in the middle of a great season with IMG Academy. His game on and off the court continues to grow. I'm really high on this kid.

“I think he’s very comfortable now playing all three guard spots,” IMG head coach Jim Carr said of Rice. “He’s been handling the ball much more as a lead guard than I think he’s had to in the past. I think his shot making and his shot creating for himself and others is another big thing I can point at as something that’s gone up also.”

ESPN “is going through some obviously challenging times because of what’s happened in linear programming,” Disney CEO Bob Iger told analysts Feb. 8. While Iger said he wants ESPN to stay in business with the NBA (the next major league with rights renewals coming up), he added that the menu of promising sports deals is likely to slim down. “I’ve had long conversations about this with [ESPN chief] Jimmy Pitaro, and we’ve got some decisions that we have to make coming up,” Iger said. “And we’re simply going to have to get more selective.”

Times, they are a changin’. I am sure that the Big Ten and SEC will continue to be big relative winners. But absolute revenue growth may face some headwinds. Will the Big Ten Network continue to add value? Will the assumptions justifying addition of Rutgers hold up over time?

Interesting development in Ann Arbor.

Former Husker ILB Ernie Hausmann transferred to Michigan earlier this offseason while the Wolverines flipped former Husker 2023 ILB commit, Hayden Moore.

I gave my wife and 2 daughters tickets (3 total) to Blake Shelton as a Christmas gift . The concert is tomorrow in Lincoln. They are awesome tickets (aisle seats 4 rows off the stage). I paid $740 for them. One of my daughters is having some medical issues and we've been in and out of Children's Hospital this week so we won't be able to make it. Anybody interested in buying them????
