16 scholarship WRs

The latest count puts us at 16 scholarship WRs!

While competition will be tight in the spring, several guys won’t be here for spring (5 true frosh?). You assume they have a lock on a roster spot.

That leaves 11 guys competing for possibly only 5-7 spots? Not sure they’d carry more than 10-12 WRs total and about 1/2 will be true frosh.

It’ll be interesting to see who makes the team, but it’s awesome that we can have tryouts for the best talent.

Nothing will ever surprise me from that scumbag university full of self righteous fart sniffers

Basketball Sloppy play haunts Huskers in home loss to Northwestern

"We had a guy dive out of bounds and nobody went over and helped him up — that bothers me when those types of things happen.”

Disappointing night inside Pinnacle Bank Arena for head coach Fred Hoiberg following a 78-63 loss to Northwestern.

(Good stuff inside from Northwestern head coach Chris Collins on what he's seen from Nebraska this season, and the injuries.)

Bill Busch on Sip & Jake

Listened to todays Sip & Jake’s podcast in the flight to NJ. Special guest for the entire show was Bill Busch and he absolutely could have a career in radio if he wanted it. Great stories, insights and observations along with humorous and keeping Sip in check.

I hope they have him on periodically through the season if he is available.

I’m sure he will land a gig soon, but my desire is that he find a home on the Husker staff and work his way back onto the coaching staff in time. He seems to fit the culture Rhule wants to build.

Football Trevor Ruth hoping to fill Nebraska's need for a fullback

Former Seward Bluejay and UNK Loper, Trevor Ruth, is ready to walk-on at Nebraska and dedicate himself to the fullback position.

Ruth has fullback in his blood.
