OT: LG TV Reset

I was getting set to watch game 1 of the CWS when all of a sudden I'm stuck one 1 channel. The remote is working properly otherwise.

I've cycled the power a couple times with any improvement. Do you have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? Is there a way to reset the TV? TIA...

Edit: I also changed my batteries in the remote...

Baseball Power-hitting outfielder Clay Bradford expects big impact at Nebraska

Had a chance to talk one of Nebraska's newest roster pieces for 2023. Bradford should be a factor next spring. Hit the ink.

OT: Thoughts are with the @BBTown Bomber family today as they lay our friend to rest…

Hope the good Lord will comfort them in their loss, and allow them to appreciate what a great gift Denny was to all who were lucky enough to know him.

I so wanted to be there, but work obligations, and a family graduation tomorrow just made it too tough to pull off… I’m with them in spirit, as I know you all are.

If you haven’t already contributed to Danny’s memorial fund, I’d like to encourage everyone to do so.…

Recruiting FutureCast prediction for recent 4-star official visitor

I just joined @Greg Smith in dropping a FutureCast prediction for 2024 four-star DE/LB Jacob Smith to pick Michigan. That won't come as much of a surprise since that's been the general feeling for a while of where he would end up.

Nebraska has been giving a good fight against Michigan, getting Smith on campus three times – including last weekend's official visit where he was the highest-ranked target on campus. As I wrote about from my interview with him after that OV, it's become a Michigan vs. Nebraska battle to land him. The writing is on the wall, though. It's not just the fact that has brother (Jerod Smith) is already committed to the Wolverines. That's part of it, but the EDGE position Michigan envisions for Jacob Smith (especially in a standup defensive end role) is what I believe he'll decide is the best fit for his future. It's "a more clear-cut role," he told me last week, as opposed to the Jack/Will linebacker spots that Nebraska has pitched him on playing. All of that + he already took an OV to Michigan this month and told me he plans to take an unofficial to Ann Arbor with his brother this weekend.

Recruiting Analysis: Bellevue West WRs Dae'vonn Hall, Isaiah McMorris commit to NU

What does the commitment of Isaiah McMorris and Dae'vonn Hall mean for the Huskers' 2024 class? What do each bring to the field? Here's our analysis:

DB/LB and TE/DE

Looks like Rhule and co strategy is to bring in a bunch of big, athletic DB athletes and let them grow into small, fast LB. And bring in a bunch of long, athletic TE and let them grow into DE.

Gonna be interesting next 3 years as these kids grow and develop. Really a no lose situation; if the kid doesn’t develop and doesn’t play, they will probably want to move on for another opportunity.

Only downside is a kid that doesn’t mind not playing and sits on a scholarship for 5 years, which happens already.

Ticks...

Holy crap are they bad this year.

I went for a walk on my hunting lease tonight, to gather trail camera cards, and I kid you not, I must have taken 25 plus off myself, ...worst I've seen.

Now mind you, I was walking in tick heaven, in a cedar and black locust forest, but damn.

The ones I removed at home before I showered, I ran through the garbage disposal, and it gave me great pleasure hearing them go bye bye....
