Football Three Takeaways: Most revealing moments of Jeff Sims media days interview

Yesterday was just the third time Jeff Sims has spoken to the media since his arrival to Nebraska.

He was really good in front of the mic during a 35-min session. I’ve got a few observations but one thing that really hit me?

When he gave the two spring ball anecdotes about Rhule, it’s very clear: They’re having fun playing football at Nebraska again.

Volleyball Nebraska tabbed second in B1G Preseason Poll

The Nebraska Volleyball team was picked second in the Big Ten Preseason Poll released by the conference on Friday. The Huskers are only behind Wisconsin who's won the past four B1G titles as the Badgers received 13 first-place votes.

Lexi Rodriguez was the lone NU player to be selected for the 15-person Preseason All-Big Ten team. She was also only one of three picks to be unanimous. Here's the full list and preseason poll:

A lot of the country’s most well-run CFB programs have a theme going into a Media Days event.nNebraska and Matt Rhule had one today: Regaining respect. Then, regaining the Huskers' foothold as one of college football's elites will come later.

Recruiting Confirmed visitors for Huskers Cook Out [UPDATE: 7/26 8:44p]

The dead period is lifting later this week for a brief few days and schools around the country are hosting events to get players on campus. Nebraska is no different and will have 'Cook Out' event like the program has in the past with the Big Red BBQ. Several players have already confirmed or announced they'll be attending the even on Sunday.
