Francis Ngannou just beat Tyson Fury in 10 Rounds

The judges outright got that wrong. The 97-93 scorecard is a travesty.

Francis outboxed Fury most of the fight and scored a knock down in the 3rd. Biggest upset in boxing history.

Fury was a -1400 favorite before the fight started. Live odds flipped to Ngannou -125 going into the 10th and final round.

Ridiculous upset. I don’t think Fury took him seriously and appeared to be “clowning around” in all of their pre-fight media appearances.

Wow. 😯

Good solid win

Too many fumbles and a brain fart of a call on fourth and one at midfield with our backup fumble machine QB. But other than those turnovers this was a solid win at home. The defense just gets better and better each week. A shame they did not get the shutout.

And I have to add that this was a very satisfying win because we beat a dirty team. And it is a talentless dirty team which makes it even sweeter to rub their noses in it. Go home Purdue and take your douchebag coach with you. Rhule has us going in the right direction and it is going to be a long, long time before you even have a chance of beating us again.

Volleyball Game Thread FINAL: No. 1 Nebraska 3, Rutgers 0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-12)

I'm back at the Devaney Center for my last game covering Nebraska Volleyball for you good folks as the No. 1 Huskers host Rutgers to finish out another weeknd of volleyball action here at the Bob. First serve is set for 7:30 p.m. on BTN+.

Nebraska is coming off a dominant sweep last night over Maryland where NU improved in each set as Harper Murray exploded for a match-high 16 kills on a clip that reached over .400. Plus, Bergen Reilly secured her seventh double-double of the season. Here's that recap from last night ICYMI:

It's a lop-sided matchup on paper between the Huskers and Scarlett Knights and I would not be surprised if it looks that way in the box score tonight. Fatigue might become a factor for Rutgers as they had to go to five sets last night to beat Big Ten basement dweller Iowa in Iowa City. Fifth-year senior setter Alyssa Nayar had 58 assists with 20 digs to total her fifth double-double of the season. Plus, libero Madyson Chitty had a busy night with a career-high 28 digs. Here's a more in-depth look at the Scarlett Knights:

Here is John Cook's WWL from this week as he is making sure the Huskers don't have a letdown after beating Wisconsin last week:

Lastly, Bergen Reilly and Laney Choboy headlined this week's Players' Corner:
