Football Carpenter: Five key factors in Huskers' loss at MSU includes Big Ten officiating

Bad performances all around in East Lansing today. From the offense, Heinrich Haarberg, his pass catchers and, yes, Big Ten officials on the field and in the replay office.

Wrote about the five main factors that led to today's loss at Michigan State:

REPORT: Four Candidates Emerge In Michigan State's Head Coach Search

"Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the coaching search have confirmed to us that Michigan State is heavily interested in the following four coaches:

- Jake Dickert (Washington State head coach)

- Jonathan Smith (Oregon State head coach)

- Lance Leipold (Kansas head coach)

- Dave Clawson (Wake Forest head coach)

Their representatives have been contacted by Michigan State, according to our sources, and formal interviews are being pursued. While researching and vetting this story, we have learned that Michigan State prefers a sitting head coach that has achieved a certain level of success. Our sources indicate MSU's preference is for an experienced head coach, rather than elevating a coordinator."

Coaches under consideration at MSU: Dickert, Smith, Leipold, Clawson

Bellevue West's offense?

I don't follow high school football really at all, so I'm honestly asking and hoping for real feedback.

Does it concern anyone that Bellevue West has not one but three commits from its offense coming to Nebraska and their offense was not remotely dominant?

I know that one of the receivers missed some time this year but still, it seems like that offense struggled a bit this year.
