Why is our Assistant pool so thin if we have the $$$ to pay?

Been very disappointed with lack of quantity and even quality so far. Experience is sure lacking in some areas.

Strength coach appears to be best one. Corey Campbel

I think Pork Chop has potential but he’s young yet. The fact we’re still considering Raiola? just very little good going on now in my opinion

Volleyball Nebraska battles to the end, but falls to Oregon in Sweet 16

Thursday was a bitter battle to final point, even if it didn't result in a Husker victory. Too many missed chances in the fourth set cost Nebraska, but to John Cook, that won't be the thing that haunts him the most about this year.

Recruiting Visit Preview: Who Nebraska expects to host during monster Dec. 9 weekend

This is a big one.

Matt Rhule is having a monster recruiting weekend with 17 official visitors. Check out everyone who is set to be in Lincoln plus some thoughts on where Nebraska stands with several of them.

2023 OL Instate Verbals

I know we have some legacy alumni kids and other in state players I guess Noonan is DL though

Point is is this more about locals vs top quality?

I hope Sledge’s kid is better than his Dad because I thought he was awful especially when we played really good teams back in the late 80s. Some of our worst OL play we had under TO was late 80s. Besides Stan Parker, most Too slow and couldn’t block anyone.

So is this just Ruhle and staff saying we have to stay with these kids because they are local and been offered or so they really believe these are the best players we can get? I guess we shall see how good Raiola can talent evaluate since he’s going to have his first full year. Is Raiola just being loyal to onstage and legacy?

I’m saying all this because the number on instate Neb OL recruits have been abysmal lately.

Thank You

After a busy and strenuous month of posting countless Twitter Posts, I would like to formally announce that I have been relieved of my Walk On status and I have earned full scholarship within these hallowed scrolls.

I will now be redshirting this year to continue to develop my skills and acumen under fellow scrollers.

To each and every one of you that have liked or laughed at one of my posts, I would like to sincerely thank you.

It's been an honor to post amongst some of the greatest scrollers to have ever scrolled. I couldn't have done it without you.

Football South Carolina TE Austin Stogner hits transfer portal

South Carolina TE Austin Stogner is officially in the transfer portal, per Rivals' Gamecock Scoop. Shane Beamer is the coach largely responsible for landing Stogner when he transferred from Oklahoma to South Carolina, but Gamecocks-turned-Huskers OC Marcus Satterfield played an integral role as well.

Nebraska will need TEs with the graduation of Travis Vokolek. Stogner is one of the nation's very best at the position, so he is one of the key early portal entrants who we will be keeping an eye on.

Assistants Salary Pool Question

Does anyone know if consultants and the like also come out of the salary pool? It is 33% larger than the last pool. While I like a lot of the new coaches that seem to be young, hungry and recruiters, I question where the money is going. You would think they would be cheaper than more seasoned coaches. Maybe that is just the cost of doing business now?

Why even recruit...

High school kids, settle on about 12 a year and cherry pick the transfer portal. Hire a business minded, fundraising group to start a transfer foundation. We were trend setters with Husker Power in the weight room, way ahead of the curve, now let’s master the portal with the best transfer deals in college football. Build Championships with transfers who are already proven instead of developing talent over the course of years. The NCAA is practically making this the NFL minor league so let’s use it to our advantage!!

Hate to say it but if Georgia/Michigan title match, I will have to root for Michigan.............

I probably like Georgia better than Michigan in general and any other game would prefer to see them win. But right now, I am so sick of the SEC, I would like to see a BIG team step up and win. So I would be rooting for Michigan in the title game. Good for the conference. And in my future Nebraska is relevant again and a strong conference means more entries into the playoff and can have visions of us getting in as a 1st, 2nd or even a 3rd big entry? I have not viewed the set up so not sure if a conference will be able to sneak 3 in or not?

Football ***BREAKING NEWS: Nebraska reportedly has its defensive coordinator (Updated with analysis)

Top movies of all time...

I was looking at the top 50 grossing movies of all time, and I was somewhat surprised to discover that I have only seen 11 of the top 50. And only 2 of the top 10.

I don't really feel like I'm missing out. If I wanted to see those movies I obviously would have.

Has anyone here seen all of the top 50? Has anyone here seen fewer than 11 of the top 50? What is your favorite of the top 50? For me, it's either Jurassic Park, or The Joker.
