What The TCU win and best group of 5 Tulane prove

that the game is definitely getting more spread out with talent and really good coaching.

The move to 12 teams instead of two and four is making it more likely that these lesser teams that are NOT in the top five can recruit players because now they can be part of a playoff if they just get in the top 12. about a decade if not 2 too late in my opinion

Haven’t checked this thoroughly, but I believe TCU was the first underdog not only did not get blown out to it to actually win the semi final game as a team who wasn’t even supposed to be in a week or two ago so there’s progress and then went to lanes doing is more progress. These teams would’ve made the top 12.

so to me, it was a little bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy. When we kept it to two and four will of course you’re gonna be top loaded there but now when you’ve got 24 teams potentially vying for a playoff spot or more the last few weeks of a season that’s awesome and it’s going it make this game is better and great players don’t just have to go to Bama Georgia etc

Adding more LB's and WR's to this class?

Login to view embedded media Nebraska isn’t done adding to its 2023 recruiting class just yet.
While the Huskers have already taken five wide receivers from the high school ranks and the transfer portal, a pair of transfer targets are still in play for Nebraska. North Carolina A&T transfer Sterling Berkhalter picked up a Nebraska offer earlier in the week, followed by an offer to Hillsdale College wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa on Thursday.
Additionally, recent decommitments from a pair of 2023 linebacker recruits could spell opportunity for Nebraska. Altamonte Springs (Fla.) Lake Brantley twin brothers Andrew and Michael Harris, both four-star recruits, decommitted from UCF two weeks ago.

This frosturbator was involved the last few years, and like clockwork has started acting like a dipshit on Twitter again. One would think he would have enough self awareness to have an ounce of humility, but the Firethrorn crew will soon start bitching and threatening things again. Time to tell them all “thanks for everything, but if you can’t be on the same page, you can all go away”
Freaking children. Must be a lot of brain damage there to conveniently forget the last 5 years of crap they insisted on having.

Maybe NU needs to just find a way to score 40 plus on the good teams

I know… easier said than done but point is

If you look at todays game and the scoring that is occurring even against top rated defenses combined with all the blowout losses that we’ve had of typically been where the top teams don’t necessarily score more than 40 or 50 but we get stuck in the teens or 20s at best.

I say find a way to score 40 today because it’s going be hard a lot harder to get blown out then it is if you can’t get past 20.

granted you could argue some of the top teams took their foot off the pedal late in games but still if we had an office that could put 30 or 40 on them we would least have more of a ball game.

funny thing is I remember when Nebraska used to lose 22 to nothing or 23 to 3 they blamed our defense not that long ago can’t stop the pass or a team who is balanced well now that’s a hell of a defensive effort especially if you don’t score and it was back then and people didn’t understand that it was her office that failed us in so many of those games prior to winning it we couldn’t block anybody good and way to predictably conservative with 4 weeks to prepare

Broncos

I’m not a donkey fan but they got screwed yesterday on 2 long pass plays that likely would have changed the outcome of the game. One was a ridiculous offensive PI call on one of their long completions and the other was a horrible no call where their Wr got mugged deep on a very catchable ball. In general I thought the NFL officiating was just plain bad yesterday.

Volleyball Team Speed upends Team Phantom in UA All-America game

If you want to take a peak at the No. 1 2023 Nebraska volleyball freshman class, turn on ESPNU to watch the Under Armour All-America game in Orlando. Andi Jackson is on Team Speed while Harper Murray, Laney ChoBoy, Caroline Jurevicious and Bergen Reilly are on Team Phantom.

Jackson looks really athletic for a middle and has already make some eye popping plays. Same for Murray, who's showing why she was the No. 2 overall player in the class.

Iowa is awesome

Said no one ever. Just imagine the early settlers. They're moving westward in search of a new life. One day, the wagon just stops. The man gives up.

Man: Woman, this is where we stay!
Woman: Council Bluffs? Ewwwww!
Children: I don't want to be from Iowa!! It smells like a cow patty!
Woman: Just look! Across the river! It's so nice over there.
Man: I'm putting my foot down, woman. I iz Iowegian! Laughing
