I say this because I’ve seen no formal confirmation from Rhule or the athletic department and heard both White and Satterfield say something about finishing their hires of assistants and wondered if there might stilll be hires after the NFL season ends?

I may be completely off base, and wishful thinking, but just wondered if a couple guys we presume are the position coaches maybe aren’t and they’ll bring in someone more high level?

I love this stuff. Rhule said we would be seeing him out & about in the community, and he wasn't blowing smoke.

Concerns me, especially the EDGE position. Could have really used Nelson and Mathis for leadership, experience, and depth. You’re likely looking at Butler and Gunnerson as your top options right now. Defensive tackle is not as worrisome, but still a concern. I think these are positions of priority for the portal right now, and we absolutely need to land some starting-caliber dudes. Convince me I’m wrong (please).

Amy Williams and Nebraska (10-5) hope to get back on track with a win over Rutgers (6-10) this afternoon on the road. Huskers are coming off a heart breaking loss to Indiana last week. Game will run on BTN after the Husker men get done in overtime with Minnesota.

Threw for +3K yards each of last 2 seasons. Sure didn’t bring him on to turn around and hand it off to B. Allen 25 times a game. Not sure they have the WR corps yet though.

Landed 15 HS commits and multiple major conference transfers including Jeudy from A&M and Scott (C) from Arizona State - both of whom will start for us Day 1, and a starting QB for competition. There is a former 5* safety who is transferring in from Florida (among other SEC caliber types).

We have transfers on campus this weekend as well and it seems we truly are in good hands recruiting wise going forward, lots of energy toward flipping this roster sooner rather than later.
