NIL…

Believe we are quickly approaching a point where the NCAA is going to have to institute a limit on what each institution is permitted to spend on NIL in order to maintain some sense of parity…much like an NFL salary cap.

Say each institution can spend up to $2 million (arbitrary number) per class.

Believe something along that line is the only way to maintain some semblance of competitiveness moving forward.

Football Jalil Martin has entered his name in the transfer portal

Inside Nebraska has confirmed that Jalil Martin entered his name in the transfer portal. The former three-star in the 2022 class redshirted in his first and only season as a Husker.

Recruiting Rhule's development history leads 4-star DE to set official visit

Four-star defensive end Jacob Smith spoke at the UC REPORT camp this weekend about his recruitment. He's got three official visits set with one being to Nebraska. Hit the link...

Lincoln Marathon - Who’s running?!

Time to separate the average sub-4.5 forty ultra-marathoning Delta insider scroller from us middle aged never has been half-assers.

I’m coming in for the Half next weekend and I want bragging rights over at least one of you posers.

I’m 45 and finished in the top half of everyone, top half of my age group last year. Age is catching up but I run at altitude so i’m fairly confident i’m going to kick your ass next Sunday. Find me at the hour 54 pace flag. Picture if Ivan Drago and Woody Harrelson had a baby. And fck off. See you soon?!?

LoL… anyone catch the Martinez & Palini, Osborne references in the new season of…

Better call Saul?

Flashback to where Saul Goodman was relocated to Omaha, and working in the mall at Cinnabon….Talking to mall security about Nebraska football..

Discussing how there’s not much chance of winning with a quarterback like Martinez, and a coach like Palini…completely caught me off guard.

Laughing my ass off.

Can’t find any video link, but it’s season 6 episode 10.

Deion Upset

“Sanders, now the head coach at Colorado, tweeted on Saturday that he’s “ashamed” of the 31 teams that did not select a single HBCU player during the draft. Only the Patriots used a draft pick on a player from an HBCU school, taking former Jackson State cornerback Isaiah Bolden at No. 245.”

Prime is crying. Again

Former Jackson State coach Deion Sanders no longer leads an HBCU program. But he’s still advocated for players historically Black institutions.

Finally got to watch spring game

Was camping this weekend at Land Between the Lakes KY

Dude, I loved what I saw

Iso runs with a FB
Defense flying around
Plays that were smash rather than finesse screens

I thought sims looked like a man. He looks like an all pro DE body type, had a nice zip

Active DL. #55 kept showing up and looked great as a true freshmen, nice size already, he’s a future all conf

It was nice because the game was just about some football.

Not sure about the KO. I didn’t hate it but I prefer the old way.

I’m excited about next year. Our FB Connor looks like a great runner too and loved his blocks in the gap

I see the makings of a good team, good resurgence of play calling.

The routes were rather boring but I think he wanted to see the trenches in this game.

Sims looks like he could have a fantastic year and his strength will be a difference. Simplify the plays, learn how to run the ball and this dude will have an easy 8 victories this year, maybe more.

The defense will be good. Hartzog is a bad ass, loved Butler and loved a few of the DL.

Just some positives vibes this am. Football could be fun again
