Nebraska athletics needs to join the 21st Century and start make sure the refs and their families are taken care of!

Whatever needs to be done to give our program a chance to succeed needs to be on the table. Instead of dumping millions of dollars in infrastructure we need to make sure the zebras are living good!
ZERO interest loans…
Cars…
Boats…
Bags of cash…
Gold bars…
Hookers…
Blow…

Whatever it takes!

Hey coach Rhule, get this kid from Colorado..

and a few more from there, would actually be a good special teams return player and then some:

FORT COLLINS — Josh Snyder is an open book. He just wishes some more college programs would pick the darn thing up.

“I mean, I’m trying to put myself out there,” Columbine’s senior tailback told me with a chuckle, his laugh a frosty cloud of breath after carrying the Rebels to a Class 5A state football title.

His X bio lists every meaningful digit but the kid’s cellphone and Social Security numbers, naked to Elon Musk and the world. Says right here he boasts a 4.5 GPA, 405-pound squat, 260-pound bench, 4.5 40-yard dash, 7.11-second 60-meter official track time.

Dude might want to add this stat: 226 page-turning, all-purpose yards at Canvas Stadium that stonewalled Dave Logan and Cherry Creek from nailing a historic five-peat.

Playoff Chaos

I love cheering for chaos every year this year is no different but hard to cheer for.

Don't like the SEC love fest.
Georgia
Alabama

Would love to see neither of them make the playoffs. For that to happen need Alabama to win and.... Cheer for Texas... Also hard to do but since they beat Bama would be hard to deny them the top 4 unless you just leave Georgia at 4.

All assuming Florida St. Gets it done still with 3rd string QB and Michigan wins. Something to cheer for but would love to hear the SEC get pissy about not being in the top 4 potentially.

OT: Athlete Endorsements

I've noticed that in many commercials, particularly those involving pro athletes, they make very explicit reference as to who they are. Example: "You're Super Bowl champion Victor Cruz." Or, "What, Nascar driver Kevin Harvick?" Why do they do this? Do athletes have it written into the endorsement deal for branding? Legal reasons? Perhaps those in the advertising industry could chime in.
