With the requirement to reduce team to 105, how will that and the active portal affect who is available to play in Bowl game?

The results of this game with Iowa was nothing surprising...given past performances. The first reaction I had was "I'm tapping out of this sh*t show program".

The question that comes up is...did they actually show progress this year? The win/loss record is only 1 game better. They were definitely a Jekyll & Hyde team for the entire year. Looked good at times and also looked horrible at times.

It just comes down to progress...or lack of progress. I am done getting angry (but still really disappointed). Personally, I think Rhule has the same "deer in the headlights" look that Frost had. He talks a good talk but I am questioning his actual coaching ability and the staff he has surrounded himself with. Recruiting would have been immensely easier being 7-5 then it will be being 6-6.

My bottom line is that this year really was the same crap just a different season.

And Nayor needs to be investigated for betting the game. I think his reaction after the drop says it all. Damn that is infuriating.

Nebraska comes up short for the four-star WR. I'll have more on what went down behind the scenes later this week, Huskers invested a lot of effort here and made it tougher than the Longhorns imagined it would be, but tough to come up short all things considered. I can say this, it didn't come down to NIL, that wasn't a factor by the end of this recruitment, Texas just stayed aggressive to close strong

Nebraska should have a lot of NIL $$$ at their disposal….can we finally go after and land some big dawgs that big boy programs desire?

Or will we still spread out some of our NIL to make sure everyone in the now 105 will be happy. Personally I say you go out and pay the top 40-50 as much as you can and DGAF about the rest, if you want to make something and you are the 60th best player then go play somewhere else. Time to start maximizing our NIL to the max and dropping to 105 would be the time to do it.
