Where’s Carter Nelson?

He couldn't be any worse than what we've had. Unless it's some kind of discipline or grades issue, I really don't understand why he's not playing. Same with I don't understand why IGC can't see the field at the WR position. He was decent the one year he actually got PT, and I don't remember blocking being a major issue with him. That whole group is just a mess.
So many options and yet we keep sticking with the same old shit that doesn't work.

With WR blocking being a problem, would Malachi Coleman help?

Where’s Carter Nelson?

He might put us at risk of scoring too many points. 🤣
We’re already exceeding the goal set before the year to barely crack the top 100 in scoring. yay

My honest guess would be injury or performance in practice. He’s already burned his redshirt, right?
He does look smooth out there, but there’s also blocking, etc.
If he's not injured we would not want to overwork him as a true freshman.
I mean, he's already caught 8 balls in 8 games.

It wouldn't be right to find out if he's capable of having a freshman year like former 4* Brock Bowers who had 54 catches in a 14 game season. Kinda seemed like the more they used him, the more productive he became. The more the defenses focused on him, the less they focused on everyone else.

9-3 and Keep Satt or 5-7 and Fire Satt

You realize that Indiana has a tenured, experienced QB and we are starting a true freshman right?
The thing I loved about Indiana was they had to insert a backup Qb to start the 2nd half and he dominated and lead the team to a 28-0 margin. And then came back the next week and put up 31. This tells me the team is very well coached on the offensive side of the ball, the fact they can prepare multiple guys when we can't prepare one. We have the most talented Nebraska team in 13 years and it will be wasted on the worst offensive coaching staff in college football, lead by an OC that has never been in the top 60 in ypg.

Raiola

He seems to be regressing IMO. I know the competition has gotten better, but you can't tell me Rutgers defense is world beaters. I think he has a LOT to learn.

What he is great at is improvising, and is better then the vast majority of QB's

What he struggles with is taking a 3 or 5 step drop and hitting a receiver in rhythm. He is a freshman, and I am going to give him a pass. However, this is something that he needs to fix ASAP

Agree with pretty much everything. Especially quick timing passes… spants, quick outs and short hitch routes. I expect DR to improve on that, but will he be able to maximize his improvement and reach his ceiling with this offensive staff. Very doubtful this staff will be able to get everything that DR is capable of.

I'm not in attack mode. The fact that you admit you were only on the pay board for Bo's tenure explains a lot.
Well, as the family grew the $99 a year mattered a lot more, as did the price of tickets and spending 4-6 hours at home game away from family. I knew internally that Bo couldn't recruit well enough and didn't appreciate his antics. Obviously Reilly was a terrible hire and Frost was already like 0-7 when I thought I might re-invest in the program.

Welp…

OSU fired John Cooper for only winning 9 games a year and not beating Michigan and OSU really didn’t miss a beat. Hired Jim Tressel, started beating Michigan and eventually won a NC. One could argue if OSU would’ve fired Cooper if he was only winning 9/10 games and was beating Michigan, but that’s not what happened so we just don’t know. My point…

I don’t think OSU fans have reservations or fears about firing a coach who wins 10 games every year. Last time they did that it worked perfectly for them.
Exactly right. As mentioned earlier, they haven't lost more than 2 games in a season going back 14 or 15 years - outside of that Tressel scandal year - and yet Day will probably be gone this year - just unreal.

Has he burned his redshirt? If so what a waste.

ESPN game log shows 3 games played.

If accurate assume we see him in once more this year.

Coleman has 4 games available so be interesting to see if he is in rotation here on out.

Given that banks is average in passing game at best and couldn't block a middle school player in space hoping we see him next week, atleast in blocking role.
