Rhule Wisconsin PC

This is Rhule throwing a player under the bus. If he cost us touchdowns in 3 games why in the hell was he still playing by game 3? Do we beat USC if he is on the bench? Who knows, but our chances would have been better. The decision to play him is on Rhule. And what is Rhule implying here? That Hill lied to them about how bad his injury still was? But once again, if that was the case it should have been immediately evident to any coach with eyes that the dude was still compromised.

The more I listen to Rhule the more I hear the voice of a man who knows he is a dead man walking. That his team sucks and he knows it sucks. Holgorsen is a band aid. A PR move to buy time. He may not even be back next year.

Rhule is putting together a good recruiting class. But once again, so what? We have seen this movie and heard this bullshit before. We win the off season and fans see a decent recruiting class and all of a sudden hope is in the air. But then the season starts and reality takes over. Other than Holgorsen all of the coaching staff remains. And if they are all back next year expect more of the same.

The only glimmer of hope I see is if Holgorsen stays and many offensive assistants are shit canned. Holgorsen could then hire a competent staff.

If that happens will we see an air raid offense? Shit I hope not. But if it works I will suddenly become its biggest booster.
I understand the dismay but he isn’t going anywhere and will be our head coach next season..

Need to find a way to win one more game and possibly two and hope he makes coaching changes after the season is over..

Seniors need to finally find away to win..

Hill is not a high character kid. He's the same guy who avoided contact two or three times in a game-- I think it was the Northwestern game in Ireland? Not sure. At best, he's a pile inspector. He's been physical at times this year and I was hopeful that he had turned a corner. Remember he's also the guy who was suddenly moved to WR in the middle of the season a couple years ago-- just kicked out of the DB room. Why? So Rhule gave him a fresh start and he was a Rhule success story until now.

Having Rhule and Holgerson in the same building is like having a QB controversy.

Yeah, no shit. If these coaches do their freaking jobs we better see 2 starter level CBs from the portal this off season.
Everyone wants starter level CBs in the portal though. And I don't think getting in a bidding war is going to do us any good. At this point, I think we look almost exclusively at Missouri Valley and Big Sky conference players-- standouts on those teams would help us. Hell, some of those teams can beat us.

Probably just an honest oversight but he didn't mention Hill being injured & held out when asked about the injured list... until he was asked specifically about him. And then he blames Hill for touchdowns scored against him in 3 previous games... I THINK that's what I heard.
Hill's play over the past few games are putting him into undrafted status. Fortunately for him, he'll have a chance to put up great numbers at the combine. There's always somebody that will see the Colorado tape and decide that they can do something with him-- a Jacksonville or Raiders come to mind. If he gropes someone maybe the Browns will show some interest.

Deion had the right idea

Indiana has played 7 of the 8 worst teams in the B1G

they've played 0 of the top 7 teams in the B1G

I hope the trouncing they're set to receive this weekend keeps them out of the playoff at 11-1

because it should
YES! So much THIS

Look, it was a fun story at 3-0 and 6-0...now it is stupid.

I hope they get one of those typical OSU beat downs that they have put on Indiana for 100 years.

Well this sucks!

Yeah, I think the question is, where do we draw the line? I mentioned in another thread that I think our rightful place may be back in the Big 12 and some posters think that's a loser's mentality. Much like rushing the field, it probably is. But there's also a point in there where you have to acknowledge that we do, in fact, suck. How long does that need to continue and where are we supposed to draw the line between accepting it and acting like it's not true, or just a temporary setback. I don't know the answers. I just know it's been a long time since I've been happy with my Husker fandom, minus a small glimmer here and there. Don't know if moving conferences or rushing the field like we've never been there before or whatever else will fix it. But I do know that what we're currently doing isn't working. There's something more going on than just having made all bad coaching hires time after time after time.
I would gladly go back to the Big 12. Nebraska would go back to a situation where we would have a competitive advantage again. Our chances of winning the Big 12 are probably 4-5 times greater than winning the Big 10. Hell, some of us may not live to see Nebraska ever win a Big 10 championship. I would rather be a big fish in a smaller pond at this point. If we played Colorado, K State, Iowa State, Kansas, Okie State, mix in a few of the Texas schools, Utah or Arizona schools that would still be a challenging schedule, but we could compete. Colorado is really no better than they were last year, but they've been winning & keeping it together. Now they are 8-2, a year after getting humiliated in the Pac 12.

Imma be straight up honest bout that....my wife wanted to do it because she thought it sounded like a great place to read. I said..."I don't read..." So we compromised, and we cancelled the cabin.

Honest question for everyone: Who goes on vacation for a week JUST to read books?

Thought it might be a double entendre, but then you said you don't "read" (if you know what I mean)-- which I know isn't true.

We ate some great food but the limits were ridiculous at the Blackjack tables and that's about the only game I play when I'm there. IF you could find a $20 limit at a Blackjack table, you could never get a chair. I could afford to bet more than that but I don't enjoy it then.
This just about ruins it for me. I like Blackjack but I would never sit at a high limit table. Call me cheap but $20 is a high limit table to me. I could only imagine sitting down on my first hand... splitting 8's... doubling down on both... then the dealer beats me on both hands. A guy would be down $80 before he'd hardly even sat down.
