we did this against IU, a game where Haarberg was the team's leading rusher (5 carries, 32 yards)And if we are going to run him so much, run option, to set up that option pass.
I would have liked to have seen HH more in this stretch where Raiola has been struggling a bit. I think HH has improved a lot in the passing game just over the off-season. I also hate that putting HH in the game so obviously signals a run play. For Christ's sake, he was a starter last year, there's no reason he can't get a passing play.
He’s an enigma to me because he leads the team in INTs. Coverage skills are of course lacking.Yep. Hartzog was already a target of opposing OCs.
Hartzog has played very well the last few games. I expect Gifford to come on strong like Hartzog did in the Ohio State game. And we would also complain if he didn't answer the question.
Plus, if we are being honest, most teams were probably planning to go after Hartzog in the passing game anyway.
Well, they are the only ones who can change it. Let’s hope they do.I totally agree with this, at this point, the bowl draught is mentally hosing these kids and coaches.

Not rocket science, but it HAS to be a thought...
I heard that last sentence like Morgan Freeman was reading it out loud. 👍Sample size 😆
Okay let’s look at their entire sample size:
Rhule’s winning %: 0.518
Fleck’s winning %: 0.591
Rhule’s bowl record: 1-2
Fleck’s bowl record: 6-2
What’s funny is they both had their best year in 2019. The obvious difference being that Fleck had multiple ranked wins and Rhule had 0.
You get extra pissy when Rhule isn’t praised as the second coming of TO. Maybe if you took his dick out of your ass you’d regain some clarity, you silly bitch 😆

I talk our players up and everyone else in this thread is bashing them. Don't turn this on me."I support our players 100% even when they're not playing their best".
No you don't. Maybe for Gifford since you've talked him up so much. At least be honest.
He’s had time to throw but has been very cautious.he didn't abandon it. The OL did.
I’m gonna guess you don’t know kids these days… too many generalities in your post here. Most stars sit out? Not as many as you think… is it increasing? Yes, but not most by any stretch.seriously.. most star players have been opting out of bowl games these last few years.. it's another chance to get injured and there is little to gain from it, unless you're a backup player trying to get noticed.
Also, I suppose the trip to Florida/Texas/California would be nice for a kid from Nebraska, but I doubt it means much to the players who are actually from Florida/Texas/California etc.
Now a playoff means something, and ofc the players want to play in that game, but a bowl game these days is kinda for losers.. (think about it from a championship mindset.. that's where all the losers end up.). And if you're a fan looking at this as your super bowl moment or just something meaningful, then I'm sorry, you really are living in another world.. which ironically is where most Nebraska fans are living these days.
