His on field performance hasn’t been great.
He's best suited for Mountain West or a desperate Pac-12, Hawaii type program. He plays stiff and nervous.
Dildo gave him every opportunity to succeed. Klubnik is going to be a really good one.

I think Hudson Card would be a better pick up. CT maybe could help us with that one assuming he doesn't come back.

Nah, like stated above, he's incredibly stiff and acts nervous in the pocket. You can't teach being cool and collected back there. We need someone with the demeanor of Burrow or Holmes or Berringer, or Mustain, or Ferragamo.

I like Spencer Sanders but you don't build with a QB who has one year of eligibility.
This has literally become college free agency. If you're experienced and decent why NOT put your name in the hopper and see what's out there for $$$?
I'm fine with that. But he'll be coming in with a serious case of the yips.
It's a money grab. If he can get a couple schools in a bidding war, he may get $700,000 or more.

Classic case of a guy with physical attributes but lacking the 'it' quality that makes a QB a winner. QBs either have it or they don't. I really think Clemson is a playoff team if they had turned the keys over to Klubnik sooner, much like they did in T Lawrence's freshman season.
Agreed. Just because he played at Clemson does not mean he is a good Qb. Terrible passer. If you want a running QB go with DJ. I would take Clemson's freshman QB in a minute.
He also gets hurt. Seems like he is always a question mark whenever Okie State has a big game.

I think he was one of those kids who just matured faster than most and therefore was bigger and faster than the kids he was playing against in high school.
Sometimes I wonder if people watch these other teams play. A lot of these QBs are leaving their schools for a reason. They just are not that great.
His trajectory is almost the exact same as Adrian Martinez.
Exciting dual threats as freshman. The injury bug starts to hit over the next couple years. By their final year at Neb/OSU they are OK except for the handful of STUPID decisions every game, then they transfer for the final year.
If you want to go with a running qb, go with Hornsby out of Arkansas. Would be the fastest guy on the team.
