It was expected, and I think he will catch on elsewhere. Would have been cool to see him and Gordo on the same team for a year though

The Twins still haven't found a replacement left handed reliever to replace him yet. They've tried a couple of guys and they have been underwhelming.

I know the Royals pen is kind of stacked, but I liked him as an option. If Duffy can't figure it out Duensing is a known commodity.

Bummer. Duensing is peaking in his career. I'm sure Dayton Moore will find another good hurler, though.

I know there were no trades involved, but your thought of the Twins picking him back up to fill the same role reminded me of "Players to be Named Later" who ended up being the same player...

Along with the situation where the Patriots traded Randy Moss and late-round draft pick to the Vikings for a 3rd-round pick (I think), only to be waived by the Vikings a few weeks later and the Patriots having an opportunity to pick him up for free after he cleared waivers. The trade would have been "Randy Moss and a late-round pick to Minnesota for a 3rd-round pick... and Randy Moss."

I dunno. I haven't followed their roster moves enough the past week or so to know if they would sign him to a minor league contract or not. He may just hang out and wait for a chance with another team. How did he look for the Royals this spring?
