You people for marijuana need your heads checked. My grandson Kyle got caught up with it in high school. He is a total failure compared to my other grandkids and works at Subway.
That has a lot more to do with the genetics that were passed down to him than it does with marijuana.

It must have come from his mothers side as my blood lines are not addictive to pot. That has a lot more to do with the genetics that were passed down to him than it does with marijuana.
this is Vermont’s Cannabis page. Still think its a joke? See the “.gov” ending to it? Doctors (and patients) need info.

Here are just a few facts and statistics about Marijuana and Alcohol. It is really annoying to me how hypocritical some people are when it comes to using Marijuana.
I hear that. I smoked cigarettes for 11 years and had quite the caffeine dependency. I'd venture to say most of those claiming to have never tried any drugs at least have themselves a caffeine addictionI quit alcohol, caffeine and cutting back on nicotine.
Alcohol caused the most problems, then caffeine, nicotine.
Marijuana fits in nicely.
caffeine can be quite insidious. It becomes a substitute for sleep/rest and/or food for many people.I hear that. I smoked cigarettes for 11 years and had quite the caffeine dependency. This just in. WILLIE NELSON quits pot. Willie has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease caused by years of smoking pot. Think emphysema. Pot is not completely harmless.
Why would you care if Willies balls are firing on all cylinders? He is the Pope of druggies. Not sure I’d look at him as a hero.Lost in this post is the fact that Willie Nelson is 86 YEARS OLD. Apparently marijuana is so deadly, dangerous, and destructive that you can smoke it nonstop for nearly 80 years and still tour as a musician. I also hear Willie's balls are both firing on all cylinders.
don't forget over the counter sugar, the original gateway drug. Killed millions and wrecked lives.I smoked weed as a youth, and did my share of drinking in college. All of the arguments against weed could apply to alcohol as well. So why should marijuana be illegal and alcohol legal? In fact, though I haven't smoked it in 26 years, I much preferred it to alcohol. You can't overdose on weed, like you can alcohol. You're not falling down, puking everywhere if you overdo it. The high is way better, and you don't have a massive hangover the next day. No one smokes marijuana over and over during the day, like cigarettes, so lung damage (if any) is minimized. And smoking isn't the only delivery method. Best of all, I've never seen a high person get all angry and start fights, like I saw on "O" Street pretty much every Saturday night. I've never heard of a guy sexually assaulting a woman high on weed - an event that happens to drunk girls on college campuses every weekend.
Either legalize it, and tax it, or make alcohol illegal. But don't feel all morally superior opposing the legalization of marijuana, when alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, trans fats, pornography, yada yada is widely available to everybody. I'd be willing to bet those paycheck advance/title loan places have done just as much harm to society as marijuana.
With that said, studies have demonstrated that marijuana use is very bad on the developing brain. So I would not recommend someone using it in their teens or early 20's. "When you're young, you're stupid to do it. When you're old, you're stupid not to do it."

safer than booze and I would also say safer than sugar, nicotine and caffeineI will say this i have never heard of a kid dying from pot but many have died from hazing at universities. Pot or any drug is not good for your body but it is a fact it is less harmful then wisky and some prescription drugs.
Benzos and opiates are legal and deadly. Even the great rush limbou or how ever you spell the morons name was preaching jail time for people who smoke pot and he lost his hearing to pain pills had his sec out buying them on the street.. Pot is not harmless but i would rather my kid smoke it then drink booze>
problem is, everyone has their own idea of being unproductive.Pot just makes people unproductive, but for medical use, I support that.
So is lying. So is stealing So is laziness. So is selfishness. So is lack of empathy. So is greed. It's normally a gateway into other felony activity.
What revelations do you think are going to come out that have been hidden away for the last 60 years? People smoking pot is nothing new. Only legally being able to do it. And let's be honest, the laws didn't stop anyone.A friend of mine had a young son who developed a really strange lung cancer after heavy pot use of about 15 years. It was a cell type I had never even heard of before. I have a suspicion that we're going to find that it isn't as harmless as some think. We already know that it can contribute to asthma which can lead to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The yahoo article caught my eye so I looked up the study.
Isn't that nearly all drugs? My BIL doctor says exactly the same thing. He was in a state that legalized medical use several years ago and said it was a joke. The medical benefits have been greatly exaggerated according to research I have read.
Recent studied are exposing major health risks.
Missed his point.. a hoaxer, or trolling hoaxersUser? This was a well run study. Go look it up. I read quite few studies and the analysis done was pretty tight IMO. Retrospective studies have confirmed and debunked lots of empirical conclusions held by medical professionals over the years. One of my favorite sayings though about studies is that statistics don't mean much if you're the one in ten thousand that gets the cancer.
Oh it's not.. I never said it was the outlier, those are your words, not mine. See how easily people twist things, even if they didn't mean to do it?problem is, everyone has their own idea of being unproductive.
social media, netflix, video games, sports, drinking, etc are all unproductive in the economic sense.
what makes marijuana the outlier?
Nicotine by itself, is as safe as caffeine. It makes you smarter, but it is addictive. Just like caffeine. Cigarettes are bad from the smoke, combustion, and particulate matter.found that men in Sweden who reported heavy (more than 50 times in lifetime) cannabis use were 2.5 times more likely to develop testicular cancer. The definition of heavy is theirs not mine. It's a headline story but I found the original study online and it's legit science and a well run study. Cigarette smoking had no effect on frequency of testicular cancer which I found interesting. Discuss.
